Agreed! It's absurd comedy aged a lot better than many other 80's animation series, which were little more than marketing tools to sell more toys. And it had some great voice acting and original tracks too! Not only were Lorenzo Music and Thom Huge perfect casting for Garfield and Jon, you also had Lou Rawls and Desirée Goyette making great music in the specials.
And I can't believe this is the only show he ever did. Thom Huge was perfect for this. He also voiced Binky and Roy, but he never did another show, ever. The man was a natural.

I am an avid watcher of Garfield and Friends, and every single one of these is from episodes I watched, so that I can answer these all perfectly! He had to remove the man’s pants because he told him to do so. The man is called Super Sonic Seymour, a lifestyle businessman whose selling point is to make your life fast. Jon hires Seymour, and they train him to be quick in everything. Garfield, only being lazy, found Jon too fast and decided to sabotage a list Seymour would use to train Jon. “Remove my pants, Dump paint on my head, Put me in the trash can, Let the garbage collectors have me.” Secondly, Noodles were in the bathtub because Garfield made the world’s most enormous bowl of soup. Simple as that! And lastly, no! I didn’t!

I am an avid watcher of Garfield and Friends, and every single one of these is from episodes I watched, so that I can answer these all perfectly!
He had to remove the man’s pants because he told him to do so.
The man is called Super Sonic Seymour, a lifestyle businessman whose selling point is to make your life fast. Jon hires Seymour, and they train him to be quick in everything.
Garfield, only being lazy, found Jon too fast and decided to sabotage a list Seymour would use to train Jon.
“Remove my pants,
Dump paint on my head,
Put me in the trash can,
Let the garbage collectors have me.”
Secondly, Noodles were in the bathtub because Garfield made the world’s most enormous bowl of soup. Simple as that!
