One comes pre-installed on both screens but they are both plastic. The inside screen is always gonna have a plastic one but if you want tempered glass for the outside screen you’ll need to buy that separately

Going to be hard to kill fold 4, which is such a solid device. Having 3 apps multitasking with zero latency makes the fold 4 > pixel fold v1.

This is not true. I got the phone today with 80% out of the box. After all of the software updates and info transfer, 4 hours later I'm at 41%

It’s a nice form factor but I have a few concerns. 1, it’s running a tensor g2 chip which is not very efficient compared to its Snapdragon 8 gen 2 which is what it should have gotten for 1800 bucks. 2, the bezels are not uniform across the inner screen compared to a galaxy fold device. 3, the outer screen mirrors the inner screen unlike the galaxy which lets you have 2 different set ups. Pixel fold has no option to unlock this currently. 4, you cannot place apps or widgets in the center of the inner screen. 5, battery life is garbage compared to a galaxy fold.

@@JoshuaBrown-is8fb I wouldn't call the battery garbage since I haven't used it to actually judge it. I agree with the tensor 2 chip it could end up having issues but only time will tell. I believe it caters to a different consumer the z fold 4 is definitely for multitasking consumers that's why the outer is smaller for you to be forced to use the inner display more with the s pen. For me it works I want to use it more like a phone until I want to have a bigger screen and split screen options or media consumption. Some of the issues can be fixed with software updates but it's a first gen fold and pretty decent one.
The first thing to do: do not buy it!
Bezels are ugly, and opening and in landscape mode, nope. 👎
