Had someone last night pitch black customer standing in the dark expected me to see a number on a house arguing with me 😢that I could not find the house
Every once in a while I'll get one starred too. Every one star you get drops your customer rating .05. If you were a 5.00 rated dasher, you'll be 4.95 following the one star. Sometimes it's obvious who left it. I'll have one that was already late and cold and they'll one star me. But sometimes I'll notice I got one when it's not obvious. I think that happens when the restaurant get the order wrong; and in their anger they go ahead and bash both the restaurant and driver.
Well, I usually drive a red Kia and one of my favorite places to hang out. Is the parking lot at LA fitness just north of the connector between Austell and Floyd Road. When it’s slow, you can find me there.

The reviews don’t come on instantly, like acceptance completion do. That way, the Dasher can’t know who specifically one star them. It is somewhat random, but after a few more deliveries, you should see that rating.
The ratings are so dumb I haven’t had a 5.0 sense more then a year ago bc I keep getting 4 and 3 stars bc doordash isn’t being honest with customers and telling them we need a 4.20 to stay on if customers knew a 4 or 3 meant fire this man! They’d probably not review or leave a 5. I’d say a 4 star is decent a 3 star is average and anything below is bad in a regular review for like a restaurant. I almost have 3000 deliveries and have rn 1 1 star 3 4 stars and one 3 star so a 4.91 but no thumbs down for any 4 reasons you can give. You know even if it was out of my control it would be nice to know what I could fix even if the customer is wrong just knowing why I got it would be nice. At least when Karen’s at a Walmart freak out no matter how stupid of a reason at least we usually know why.
ANYONE KNOW WHY THERES 2 CUSTOMER RATING,1 ON THE SCREEN WITH ALL OF THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF RATINGS AND THE OTHER ON THE NEXT PAGE AFTER U HIT THE CUSTOMER RATINGS PAGE,ITS ALWAYS HIGHER ON THE 2ND
Not always different, but if you haven’t had 100 deliveries where the customer actually left a rating, or if ratings were excluded, it could explain the difference
a bunch of a holes who give you a bad rating because they're hungry , and the restaurant is the one causing the wait. they will thumbs down you in every category. I observe mine after every shift and that's what I see
If you are a new dasher, you may not have enough rated deliveries for an accurate score. Less than half of customers rate their dasher, so it can take time. As for a red 5.0, sounds like poor coding in the app.

Once you have 100 rated deliveries, the percentage hits will become static. A good way to think about it, and to understand the math, is to imagine you only had 10 rated deliveries, and to imagine those stars were actual, tangible stars. If they were all 5 star, you’d have 50 stars, or 5.0. (DD doesn’t start ranking drivers with this few deliveries) Now imagine that one of those customers gave you 1 star instead of 5. Now you only have 46 stars out of 50 possible. So you score would be 4.6. When you don’t have 100 rated deliveries, one star rating will hurt you more.
