My friend Brian was the one who found it originally. He explained that you need at least 40 power stars, and that you needed to head into the mirror room in the castle. First, you gotta run around each of the podiums ten times from the left side of the room to the right. You then have to perform a triple jump and dive headfirst at the mirror. This will cause the mirror to distort and crack. At this point, you have to plug a memory pak into your N64 controller, as the devs couldn’t find a way to optimize the level entry to allow a regular N64 to not crash/freeze. Next, you gotta tilt the N64 console 45 degrees in either direction, so long as it’s towards its left or right. You’ll then hear the puzzle solution jingle, which will then be followed by a large iron ball crashing through the ceiling on the other side of the mirror, colliding with the mirror and destroying it. Now Mario can pass through to the end of the mirror room where you’ll be able to enter a door. Afterwards, you’ll be in a large hallway, with a Minecraft painting at the end. Enter the painting, and you should arrive at the level.
