I truly believe that God gives us the gifts of being intelligent and being able to make decisions and if we come to a crossroads where we need to make a choice and at the time the only two options we can see are this and that I truly believe that what God wants us to do is reach out and involve him it's been with us the whole way in coming to that decision but when it's time to choose we don't want to make that decision so instead of leaving it to chance we say God you get to decide whatever the outcome is as we cast these lots will accept that. I totally agree with you about partnering with the holy Spirit because if we just say God who do you want to be appointed we may wait generations and he may not tell us right away and I do believe that leads to impatience on our part which is wrong but if we partner with the holy Spirit and make decisions in a godly manner, we are not placing him in a box we are in a box and we are asking God to intercede. The difference of this versus if you show me this sign or this sign God I'll know what was you that is putting God in a box but asking him to help out with a decision I don't think that's putting him in a box
People will always argue what they don't understand. God's word won't change to fit you. I admonish all to seek clear understanding concerning tongues and receiving the Holy Ghost
You will speak with other tongues as the spirit of God gives us the ability and you will speak in tongues. That is a outward sign let the holy Ghost has come upon you. It is not something that you can teach a person to do but the Lord himself speaks through us. It is a precious gift from God.

In response to Kanoe’s “Heart Check” - I believe God cause the lot to go in His favor. So the result from casting the lot fell on Matthias was God’s doing. Then I search up my above conclusion with the Tony Evans Bible Commentary and it said same as I believe. Here is what the Commentary of Acts 1:24-26 said: According to Proverbs, "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord" (Prov 16:33). In other words, nothing happens according to chance when a sovereign God is running the universe. The disciples knew that God directed the lot. Nev-ertheless, it's interesting to note that after the coming of the Holy Spirit to dwell within them, the apostles never again made a decision by casting lots. Instead, they depended on the Holy Spirit through prayer.

Please guide the Hebrew Israelites to do your will and open their hearts more to be guided by your Holy Spirit. We pray that they set a good example in Your Holy Name. They cast lots but they did pray about it 1st but sometime afterwards they got the Holy Spirit in which they didn’t need to cast lots any more due to the fact that they relied on the Holy Spirit for their directions & guidance

How do we reconcile standing with present-day “physical” Israel with the NT Romans 9:6-8 that states that those who call are descendants of Israel may in fact not be Israel?
Unless you are in Palestine and see what is going on you have no right to demand anyone agree with your opinion. People have devolped a mindset that they must always be on the side of the little guy. She needs to educate herself. Palestine is not necessarily the little guy. Every Palestinian is not Hamas. She needs the Bible more not less. God Bless you Kanoe
