Upward Bound pre-collegiate students from Boston, MA area, and visiting students from London, U.K. ride the Zero Gravity ride at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH.
Recorded by Jeff Dranetz, who became very nauseated after the ride.
Jeff later loses his lunch after the Crazy Cups ride, imediately following this. See next video.
Jeff's wife, Eileen Twomey Dranetz, is on the ride, to the right in the video.
For the kids to know : Riders are spun at high speed, then tilted almost vertically. Rdiers are held in place by centrifugal force.
I like how it's called zero gravity yet it is really just more gravity.
at first when they screamed, they sounded like Tiny ants that are gonna get stepped on by some giant XD
I went on this ride at the fair & my seatbelt came off I was freaking out lmao
I went on this ride today for the first time and I didn't scream, I didn't blink I was jest zoned out until the ride stopped
I only scream on the ride because it's fun, not scary xD

aliii I promise you it won't. It seems like it will, but it's really secure. I would want you about the whiplash that resulted for me from this ride though, I'd be careful.

Does this ride give you a tickle in your tummy, like the orbitor or pharaohs furry, or tilt-o-whirl. I love the orbitor, it always makes my stomach, tickle, like a roller coaster...but never been on this so wanted to know does it give the same feeling, in your stomach?

Back then they didn't have seat belts. But people kept moving around and trying to walk when ride was in motion and cause the companies to add seat belts. Defeats the purpose to really take advantage of gravity. Way to ruin the rides intentions people
That ride is really awesome and relaxing. Even though it feels like your glued to the back. I rode it today like 60 times. Not scary at all. Even my first time it wasn't scary.

This used to be called the Round Up and it spun clockwise when i rode it.
It's no where near as fun being belted in. I liked crawling up and down the walls.

Those things are so much more fun when there isn't bars separating ou from people an hardly anyone is on. Then you can like stretch yourself out sideways of go totally upside down it's so fun to see what other people are doing to lol!

When I was 11 I went in indoor one with lights and I was tripping out! At least the light are off here, you could get very dizzy.

a total copy of the gravitron the gravitron is better because you can move around and go upside down and stuff

There is no need to hold on to the bars lol. Gravity pulls you back because of the strong speed so you won't fall out unless you force yourself out which would be a stupid idea. One time the guy put us so high the crane was straight. Lol I was so dizzy.

It spins and an arm under the whole thing lifts the car so that it's nearly vertical.

IVE BEEN ON THIS IN Santa Cruz beach board walk and you go sideways lol I alway take off the belt thing or just simply the rope thing and me and my sister always switch like we hold the bars and trade places ITS SOO FUN

I went in this last year when I was 12 and I hated it so much but I'm absolutely fine with Turkish twist
I went on the zero gravity kings fair hanford its was scary a bit
This ride gave me vertigo for about 4 hours. So does the gravitron.
I went on one of these and some kid literally turned himself upside down and scared the shit out of everyone because we thought he was gonna fall
