That because they're in the right key. The others arent a different quality just a different size/key. Ocarinas come in multiple shapes, sizes, and keys, all meant to play differently.
I feel it's defects just got elevated because it got played after the black one, which yes, is the best one but for $10 and it being from Walmart is pretty cool
The Night by Noble in black was the closest to being on pitch & also had a very pleasant warm quality that I feel is closer to wooden ocarinas. Awesome.
@@tiga1079Just do you know he said MOST in tune not perfectly in tune, they both are similar in terms of tuning but the one by Noble is definitely a better version. Comparing them side by side shows that they are both in tune for the most part. The only flaw I can hear with the Odami one is that it is slightly too sharp
@@a-xx6ee technically it means that you wouldn’t be able to hear any change in tone, a phone ringing a car horn etc. I’m just making jokes, you are the one that keeps going
The black one sounds a lot like my first (similarly priced) ceramic one, but I think the green one is by far the best bang for your buck and one I'll definitely keep in mind for next time some of my tiny relatives asks for ocarinas for birthdays/Christmas
I still like the Red one, its been tuned to be in minor key as opposed to the major key from everyone else, and I somehow find that really nice and soothing. Still, the black and green ones sound really good lol
I want to hear all four of them play together in unison (but do something to make sure it’s not earpiercing and stuff, and instead sound more idk what word I’m looking for but heavenly? Angelic? Majestic? Harmonic?)
I feel like I got different vibes from all of them! The black and green ones made the song sound like you're hearing them from within a cave, while the red one sounds like you're hearing it while in the room with the player. The blue straddles the line between both, leaning more towards cave.
I love my plastic STL. It was my first ocarina and a great way to start my collection. As these thing go, i now have 5 😂 alto c ceramic, STL soprano, a bass, and a mini!
i also have the night by noble. Its the best for anything under 50$ and i would argue it even fight way over its price point. easily having the same sound quality has 50-100 ocarinas
Black and green are good with the black one being the better of the two, but the clear plastic one had an airy quality that I fell added to the sounds as opposed to the walmart on which was airy in a way that was detrimental to the overall sound.
The black one makes me feel like I was teleported into Zelda
Sound the most accurate I agree
Black and black ocarina match dint they? @@Lulo_Serrucho
i have that 1
Same
Ayo?
The black sounded the best. The others you could hear the breath, but the black silenced that and sounded crisp! 🖤🖤
Green was the most full sounding. But black does have a much higher quality tone.
Oh my gosh The Black Silence from Library of Ruina???????
and they were out of tune, the blue one was the most out of tune, black was the only one not out of tune
It was also the most in tune
@@Jr_live23It sounded like the notes were off though. Only orange and black sounded tuned properly.
Green and black sounds the best quality. Thanks to all our Zelda fans out there who know the good sound of music 🎶 🎵 ocarina 👶
Yes
True but the black one had a smaller but better tone
@@kaneko523I agree, the green one has a full and rich tone that is very good, however the black one has the better tone.
Imo at least
Black and green are the only two tuned properly. Black has a richer timbre, whereas green is maybe a little whinier at higher pitches.
That because they're in the right key. The others arent a different quality just a different size/key. Ocarinas come in multiple shapes, sizes, and keys, all meant to play differently.
The fact the Walmart ocarina comes in Walmart blue is just so funny
and it sounds terrible too
Night by Noble really is the best hands down. Good intonation, and best tone quality. The Odami is a surprising close second.
Came here to say pretty much this ^
Agreed
Saw that (2 for $30) for the green one and was quite surprised how good it was for 2 for the price of the black one.
Nuh uh im broke man i cant afford sht
That walmart one was ghastly. Black sounded amazing.
Sounded sharp 😢
I feel it's defects just got elevated because it got played after the black one, which yes, is the best one but for $10 and it being from Walmart is pretty cool
Walmart one sounded so out of tune, caused me to have a brain aneurysm
I feel like the cheap one would be better if it was more horror themed. Has that weird off tune aspect that make it unsettling
This instrument is in pewdiepie tuber simulator
The Night by Noble in black was the closest to being on pitch & also had a very pleasant warm quality that I feel is closer to wooden ocarinas. Awesome.
yea less airy sound
Black is the only one that doesn't play some of the notes very flat and stays in tune
I mean, the blue is not very flat on the last note, it's really sharp
@@musicfriendly12😂
walmart is realllly sharp
@@musicfriendly12I thought the blue was too sharp, in general. A lot of those notes didn't hit right at all.
Alot of that has to do with the player. But you can easily tell its kinda doing what it wants lol
Night by Noble was by far the most in tune, and also had a lovely, joyful tone. Very nice!
Night by Noble and the Odami ocarinas sounded the most in tune. What surprised me is the Odami's sound at half the price was not too shabby.
This is why you aren’t in charge of anything musical other than a playlist. You are tone deaf

The black one hit the nostalgia just right.
My man just called saria 4 times in a row
3 times. When he used the blue one he actually called sad-ria
that Walmart one didn't call Saria, it called sorry-ah
Saria said that she wanted you to call any time
I do that in game anyway
Lmao. She's like "Alright I'm coming chill out"
I have never been convinced to purchase an instrument so quickly in my life. Good job dude
Green and black sound absolutely stunning
Saria's song is really an ideal test case for ocarinas, isn't it? It's got low, high, vibrato, stacatto, all within ten seconds.
The Walmart one lived up to expectations 😂
ong
red sounded like a plastic recorder too, hard to make plastic not sound like plastic
I was surprised that Walmart even sells them, not surprised at all by the sound…
The black one sounds a lot like my first (similarly priced) ceramic one, but I think the green one is by far the best bang for your buck and one I'll definitely keep in mind for next time some of my tiny relatives asks for ocarinas for birthdays/Christmas
I loved your big black ocarina, you use it so well
The bros be like: AYO-
Red One: "Hooray! Hooray! That was great Squidward! All those wrong notes you played made it sound more original"
I didn’t even know what this was but I think the green one sounded the best
That black one hit me with nostalgia
I really need to get back to learning my Ocarina lol
Black sounded seriously amazing.
It feels so comfortable hearing the music from the black and green
Bro I want to hear more from the “night by noble”
Night by Noble was by far the best sound. Very rich, not pitchy, strobe tone throughout. I’d buy it.
Night by Noble is very clean but very sharp sounding, my fav is the Odami.
I really like how the black one sounds.
The black ocarina cured my racism
I lost it.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU SHOWED ME. THIS IS AMAZING
Green one and the black one sound so smooth
red and black are the only ones that make the last notes sound good
The red does not have the right note to be played in the right scale.
The red one plays the wrong note 😂😂
well i like the wrong note and i dont care111!!!!
red flopped
They are horribly out of tune
The Odami has pure notes but the tone on the Night is my favorite. Nice short.
No instrument makes pures, not even a tuning fork is pure, it's just extremely close

THE BLACK ONE SOUNDS MAJESTIC
The black one had great tones and a pleasant sound
I really liked the red one, had this cool echoey sound that really felt like something you would find a forest spirit playing
The only problem is that the notes were way out of tune. As a musician, it hurts to listen to.
I liked black the best, but you're right the red one sounded really good.
Bruh that was so outta tune tho
@@likithsolasa yeah I still like it though, it scratches my brain. Plus I don’t know the original song so I don’t have anything to compare it to

the green one is so calming, i like it!
Night and Noble was the only one that sounded like it was on key and sounded peefect.
The odami one fucking slayeddddd😭
Nah the night was best that’s just the money saving mindset talking

I love how the green one sounds ❤
The green definitely takes the cake. It sounded so beautiful and nostalgic
The blue when sounds like when your REALLY lost in the woods

I actually like the green one, it's got the clarity but also the whimsy
Green was so good. I loved that. Black is a great contender.
You have no idea how much I want to learn to play these 💀
Bro you made all of them sound awesome! So many awesome memories from this song !
To a not-so-pitch-perfect musician's ear, the black and green one sounds the best
His smile will brighten anybody’s day
the black and green ones sound the cleanest
The black one sounds spot on
the black one gave me chills bruh
I noticed the green, Walmart, and red transparent ones were sharper than they were supposed to be, but I like the black stagg.
Green and Black were astonishing
For some strange reason the red one had a feibt tink also at the end of every other note and it just hit me in the right way.
The black one souded pretty darn nice
The green scratches my brain good
The black one makes my head make headbang
the blue and the red ones were okay but it seemed like they had an issue with staying in tune/in the right key
I have the Noble since a few years and can say it’s beautiful! The notes are (in my hearing and testing) perfect and no wrong notes.
the black one... My god please im crying... Nostalgia
It sounded PERFECT
That B L A C K one went hard

My favourite is the second one that was showcased. I don’t know why, but the sound felt more whole
I almost shed a tear at the black one
Dudes so chill
Black sounded the best, instantly recognized the melody.
The black one was perfect 👌
honestly the Black and lime one sounded the best I don't know why but the blue one had a whiseling wind effect to it for some reason.
I still like how the blue one had a neat spin on the song. Green was my fave though.
The green one gave me chills especially since it's color and the perfect sound
My fav its black one its just so good
I used to have a really nice ceramic one had it for like 8 years. Couple months ago my 2 year old son got ahold of it.
I dont have a ocarina anymore.
The red and green ones made me feel awake
It was a blessing i stayed so i could find the name of that one song
The orange n black one are definitely the best👌
1. Black
2. Green
3. Blue
4. Red
The Noble black sounded great and clear !
Whoa you played the Lost Woods song on the Night by Noble Ocarina accurately
the green one is like the one saria gives you

I like the red one it sounds a little deeper than the others
The red one was actually kinda good
I liked the Stagg Ocarina, sounded like a pitched down version of lost woods.
the green one for all around goodness
The green one sounds good
The black and green combo sound good. Those Wal-Mart ones could be better. Sounds almost like the instrument has a sinus problem.
