M&P soap base from scratch is easy and economical. Because it is made with Sodium Hydroxide & alkali salt from fatty acid. It is true soap define by Food & drug administration. Many commercial melt & pour soap product are made from surfactant and are not a true soap.
☝️✌😅 I just want to share to you on how i make the MP soap just for my personal use..ONLY!!
🙋♂️ For beginner please use proper equipment and a knowledge on how to handle Lye/sodium hydroxide.

👨🔬 This formulation self preserve there is no need to add preservative
Transparent Glycerin Soap Base for melt & pour
♥️ SLS, SLES free
♥️ Paraben free
♥️ Preservative free
♥️ Triethanolamine TEA free
♥️ Ph 7 (Natural Ph)
♥️ Mercuri Free
♥️ Alcohol Free
Ingredients:
94g - Pure Coconut Oil
40g - Stearic Acid
22.8g - Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)
22.8g - Distill Water
23g - Glycerin
100g - Sorbitol
120g - Propylene Glycol
35g - Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Optional)
3g - Premix equal part of (1:1:1 of water: Titanium Dioxide : Zinc Oxide)
1.5g - Citric Acid (PH adjuster)

Love the recipe but from what I have researched citric acid does not lower pH it eats some of the lye and makes it a higher superfat. It makes a longer lasting bar and helps with shelf life.
Citric acid does lower the PH of the formula. I used it all the time with my ph balanced body washes I formulate
If you add it at the end when it has already been saponified, the pH will drop.
Looking for a long time for sweet and nicely explained recipes.

Pls do I need to let the soap cure before using it as a melt and pour or can u use the next day after unmolding
U can use it straight away, but for me usually i will leave it for a few day before use it, i dont know why😅😂. Just to remember the hot process soap u can use it stat.tq

I tried this method and everything was a flop, especially after using the stick blender, it got solidified immediately. I was so sad. Wish there is another simpler method.
That is a normal process to solidify and crumble. That’s the chemical reaction it does

Why zinc oxide and titanium oxide have been added

I thought the melt and pour glycerin soaps are free of lye! This is not...Does all the melt and pour soap base are made with this recipe?
Lye is a must for the oils to saponify
Your a rookie, there is no such thing as lye-less soap. All soaps have to go through this process to become soap!
Melt and pour goes through this same process when they make it. That’s why it’s called melt and pour, they do this for you already

Hi, Does the soap sweat?
Hi dear, due to glycerin content yes it a little bit sweet if left on open air.
I tried the same. But after hardening, my soap sweats glycerin out. What could be the reason and what corrections need to be done?
Mines didn't melt
Glycerine is a humectant it attracts moisture that’s why it sweats out. That’s just how it behaves. Perhaps reduce the amount of glycerin you put in.
