Gulmarg is Ski capital of India located 49 Km away from Srinagar. It is at an altitude of 8000 feet. Gondola phase 1 & 2 are at an altitude of 10000 and 14000 feet. December to march is cold and best period to experience snow.
One cannot put up in words the moment we experienced so if not visited ever than it is Switzerland of India.
