Living in Florida and dealing with bad weather every hurricane season we experience power outages regularly. We have a large gas powered generator but we also have battery power banks. One large one (like you have here) plus two smaller ones (about the size of a desk top/portable radio. We run various small things with the 2 small ones. Fans, charge cell phones & lap tops, recarge lanterns and run small appliances. We recharge them with the gas powered generator or small portable solar panels. Handy to have for sure.
When you press that switch that turns on the sockets, you are turning on an inverter which converts the 12v DC from the internal battery up to 110v AC to power the blender. The inverter uses power even if the blender is turned off - if you had turned that switch off the 67 hour reading would have jumped up even higher. So power banks have an auto inverter turn off if the appliance connected to it is turned off, on some you need to manually do it (some call it an eco mode) - it is a good option to turn off if you are using a CPAP machine, as the low power draw can turn off some banks. Looking at the spec on this one, it is also able to operate as a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), so if you had something like a fridge for medicines, you can plug this bank into a wall socket and then plug the fridge into the bank. The bank will still charge up and will power the fridge, but If the mains power goes off, the bank will immediately take over supplying the power to the fridge. They are good tools, but are limited if you have no sun or nowhere to place the solar panels (such as an apartment) Good explanation Jordan and am liking the hair down look 🙂
That's such a great point that I didn't even realize - "The inverter uses power even if the blender is turned off - if you had turned that switch off the 67 hour reading would have jumped up even higher." Thank you for pointing that out! 😊
I'm sorry, I missed the cost of this generator somehow. This looks perfect for me and my family and simple

Definitely! A power bank like this one can make a bad situation bearable. ❤️
This looks great, I'm going to buy one and hopefully it'll surprise me!
I’m loving it more and more as I “play” with it! So incredibly useful. 🙌
Thanks for your tips. I bought the small rechargeable fan that you recommended in a previous video, I love it!
Glad I could help! ❤️

Thanks
Thank you! 😊
❤💜
This is not cheaper than some other alternatives.
It may not be the cheapest on the market (and I didn't claim that), but it's definitely cheaper than some similar solar generator/power banks.
Thanks
Thank you! 😊
@@foodprepguide Its a shame that you don't get all of it.
