Maresca had a very successful stint as Manchester City's EDS coach, raising talents like Lavia and Palmer. He wasn't dreadful at Parma and took Leicester through an injury hit season to win arguably the most competitive Championship season in years playing a very compact and defined style which enables stability defensively. Give him a chance to manifest his ideas and blend the youth to achieve success. All we want is success for Chelsea.
Leceister had 4 injuries the whole season what are you on about . And he was sacked at parma after a disaster class. He nearly bottled a 17 points gap . He will most likely struggle at chelsea
@@Jayjaybills5030 5 losses in 14 games over a 6 month period is hardly a disaster my friend. Potter was 11 losses in 31 games over 7 months. Who was worse? Even Poch had just a 50% win over a season (Maresca had 40% at Parma and 67% at Leicester). Back the man and see the positives
@@weriushadrianus did you do maths in school? How is 5 losses in 14 games not worse than 11 losses in 31 games?? Can you even listen to yourself bro?? And where did you get 40% for Maresca from? You don't know what you are talking about, and to be so confident while being so wrong about Maresca's work at Parma is baffling!!
What I don’t understand is that why everyone wants to emulate the City and Pep’s model. The frustrating part is that this is happening to club with a big stature like Chelsea. I mean Chelsea won more UCL than City hence it’s mind boggling when they are trying to emulate something that they’re not. Not just Chelsea unfortunately Bayern is also in the process of getting another Pep’s disciple in Kompany. Pep’s model maybe great on paper but it’s not the only way to win. I mean I would prefer Ancelotti’s or Zidane’s method rather than Pep’s tactical dictatorship.
I'll wager that the players actually want more structure. They'd happily trade some attacking freedom for more defensive solidity. They finished 5 points behind Villa. A less porous defence would have seen them possibly make 4th place.
I think its more about his football and the fact he coached the U21 at City than him looking like Pep. Plus if he was the one working with palmer chelsea holden goose now then he must can develope a few more of these young stars we Are buying. The pepbcomoarison are just from small minds
The same Palmer he raised in the EDS? Lol. You are all just being negative for no reason. Poch couldn't structure a side capable of beating low block defensive teams, and that caused us points. Apparently, Enzo is an upgrade in this regard and we should look towards a more solid display from the first team.
Good on Boehly for bringing in the Pasta Graham Potter. If we can complete the signings he wants like Will Hughes and Tyrone Mings, we could be cooking up a tidy 7th place finish. Exciting times for us proper Chels Fans

It's crazy how football went from finding the next Messi to now finding the next Pep-all becuz they want to play total football They're now picking up any bald man with grey beard they find on the streets
Tbf this guy may be inexperienced but he’s actually been praised my Manuel Pelleringi and Pep for his footballing brain and tactical understanding, while he was west ham assistant in 2019 under pelleringi he actually was responsible for a win over Chelsea at Stamford bridge and they were considering to make him head coach after they sacked pelleringi
What blueprint. PG is supported by a deeply well run organization who have deep pockets and would never have a squad of young talented but inexperienced players. PG tells his SF what he needs, the player profile and they present the options to him. So not sure what blueprint he is supposed to follow. Next season isn't going to be boring is it... 😂
Bottom feeding…. Working with young players? Man City sells all fo them aside from Foden in last 8-10 yrs. they just write 100m check to buy players.. Chelsea circus.
Giving this guy this much hype because hes bald and has worked under pep playing a similar style is too much. They should let him speak for himself and wait and see.
There’s only one Guardiola. Just because Chelsea picks up Pep’s former aide doesn’t mean he miraculously transforms into him overnight.

People are lazy to innovate. Good point. Zinedine and Don Carlo will keep beating Pep.
Chelsea & Bayern have seen what an inexperienced genius coach did at Leverkusen. They are just riding the wave.
Chelsea try to copy Arsenal. Could u believe😂 madness
So the Pep system will affect Palmer but it doesnt affect Foden.... Palmer will Play a Foden Role in the system
