I only got started stacking bars and you’re right! the 10oz is really the best for stacking. Easy to find, lots of designs to choose from, and are popular on the secondary market.

I really like 10oz bars, I think when I've got a few more standard Britannia's stacked up I might start getting a few. The way they stack together just makes my OCD so happy. Oh and well done for catching the 10minutes of sun we've had so far this year on camera.

10 ounce bars feel great in hand👌. I’ve only got a few,my James Bond bars are under lock and key( look but don’t touch) but my generic bars are for playing with, polishing up, dropping and playing with etc!!! Luv em. J.

The Scottsdale stackers are my favourite, I’ve seen the academy bars but they look like a wish version of the Scottsdales IMO
I love Scottsdale stuff. I have some bars and rounds. Got a little stack of their 5oz stacker rounds too they always feel great to play with.
I also love the tombstone nuggets. Just pondering at the moment on a 1KG Tombstone as I don’t have one in that size yet.

The 10 ozers are the most popular now because of the reasons you said. I do expect though that the 5 ozers will get a lot of attention once spot price breaks $30 and silver is popular again.

I like the 10oz Scottsdale stackers, the 10oz Poseidon bars the 2oz Scottsdale round stackers and the silver Krugerrands as well as the 5oz Awakening rounds.
Came to verify the fit in the hand for the weight being a sweet combo for chucking at enemies... haven't made it through all the comments yet...
I need to add that to my criteria going forward before purchasing 10oz bars! 😂
i agree with the spending money bit. next week im buying a little pile. may get a couple of these 10 oz bars. better to slemd on metal tha junk i dont need.
💯Agree about the 10oz standard. Have several in my own stack, and love the Scottsdale stackers. I did a video a while back about where to find them at the best price, and (spoiler alert) it was directly through their eBay store. Definitely worth a look. Cheers!

Once I start looking at 10 ounce bars I immediately shift to a 1/10 gold coin as my preferred vehicle.. funny though I would buy and have bought more than 10oz of coin at a time… I like stacking coins.
I made 7 submarine patrols out of Holy Loch Scotland back in the 70's and know all about UK weather. You have some great bars, I just got a 10 oz Engelhard pressed bar.
I never take bars out their plastic as it helps preserve it in prestine condition and you can always see it

The tubs I got which are built for slightly flatter 10oz bars only fit eight Scottsdales and that's only mildly infuriating :P

Where did you get that plastic storage container from for the 10 oz bars?
Not sure now I’ve had them in the cupboard for about 6 years before I started using them for this purpose!

Not a fan of the kilo versions, they don’t look in proportion, they look more thick instead of long which is a shame
What do you have to pay for 10 oz. bar in the U.K? I understand there’s a VAT tax you have to pay. I’m outside of Chicago in the States and fortunately, Illinois does not charge tax on metals.
Around £300 as an average here in the UK
