Looking great, Dude! I almost have my 996 up and going. I hear you with the body work. Not a fan but I knew it was going to be necessary. I’m in the middle of removing the rear drivers side axle cuz the cv Boot ripped during or before the accident and it looked like gravel pit in there.

What was the gold stuff you put on the right side patch panel?

Nicely done. I'm used to old skool 911s, so just spot welds, not panel bond and rivets. Can you weld through the panel bond? What was the gold-ish colour substance you were applying at the 22:20 minute mark?

The gold-colored stuff is welded through primer. You put it anywhere that has uncoated metal and you're welding so that you ensure there is corrosion protection.
Thanks for the reply! I'm guessing it's copper based? You put it on so tidy, I wasn't sure what it was. So many other guys really go to town with the weld through primer!
