Dancing Hands | Nadappura Kalaasham | Thrippunithura 2016

As I was standing among the crowd during the Kalaasham (climax) of Chembada melam at Nadappura of Thrippunithura temple, the pattern of movement of hands looked interesting and I recorded it on my cellphone. Sharing it with you all.
Recorded on 4th Dec 2016 night (5th Dec early morning) - Valiya Vilakku day. Melam by Sri. Peruvanam Kuttan Marar & team.

it is the benchmark chenda melam in whole of kerala temple festival. it always kept it reputation,notwithstanding, thrissur pooram,vaikom,koodalmanickam,ettumanoor,ambalapuzha,guruvayur,utrali,peruvanam,nemara-vallenghi,chinakattur,thirumadamkunnu, here in poornathrayee khetram,it always comes on top,it is bcoz ambience&temple stracture.

This is a classic kalaasham video. At 2:35 I can feel the intensity when the cam starts to shake, and it makes you feel standing right in t he middle of it. By the way thanks alot for uploading all the beautiful videos Ganesh.
