We have some of the best motorcycle roads in the world here in Western North Carolina. I’m an old man, 74, but ride a Honda TransAlp through the twisties and gravel roads. It keeps me young.

Whoa dude! Didn't know you did these types of videos. Awesome. I would recommend trying to record the sound of the motorcycle with a separate mic close to the engine and mix in during editing with music. It just gives it more of that feeling of actual riding. Go high on the engine sound and music volume lower. I just video my rides for myself but check my North Cascade Hwy 20 video for example. If you can get that same motor/music mixture, I think it would be better a better experience. Just renewed my subscription, enjoy what you folks do for us motorcycle enthusiast. I have to ride this road now after watching. What a hidden gem.

Just watched your video. You are right, much better with engine sound and low music volume. especially if you don't like the louder music that gets played on some videos.

Beautiful, smooth, twisty country road! After the “photo stop”, I definitely watched some outstanding riding techniques in the twisty’s on this ride! The entry speeds in corners, lean angles, lane positioning, exiting corners and passing other vehicles were all textbook and I loved it!! For me, that makes the ride that much more enjoyable to watch, along with the scenery. 🎵Awesome ride and great video, gotta put that destination on my bucket list. 👏 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎶 👍

I am currently planning a trip to Cherokee in April. I was going to visit some of the HOG 50 Rides, One Nation challenges, but will have to add this route to one of the day trips!

I love this road. Its oneof my favs. Riden it lots of times. But its one that needs to be embraced and enjoyed at a slower pace. No need to race to the end. Take your time, folks. Its a beauty of a road and nature.

I've enjoyed this road many times. The first time was only a year after I returned to riding....I was amazed. Add this to 64 from Franklin to Highlands and you have an adventure.

Wayah Road was amazing when I randomly discovered it in 2021- and now it's been repaved? Awesome! :D

I only wish I had a map graphic in the video to see the road instead of going back to my map app to find it

I need someone to follow me with a video camera. I see riders, such as the one in this video, who seem to pick multiple lines as they wibble through each turn. I like to think I pick a single line and commit to it, but now I want to see if that's really true.
The rider out front seemed quite skillful. .
