I too got this new Alto K10 last month and this is suitable for city ride also the engine is peppy and clutch is smooth also easy to ride is small roads and I bought Lxi for 4.9L on road price in Chennai and the user also has given an honest review.
How just 4.9lakh on road

I am having Alto 800 bought from True Value with 6 months warranty. Really Top Class... I just had a trip from Chennai to Pondicherry, the mileage was around 21kmpl in average speed not exceeding 90kmph. I do accept that initial level pickup is less in this Alto 800 than K10. We should come down to 1st gear when we cross any speed breaker to maintain the speed level.
How much cost?

I have 8 year old Alto k10. Disadvantages are too much vibration, not safe for highway. Advantages are best for city drive, maintenance is low, easy to drive.
Finaly oru new Alto useraa kandu pudichitingaa.. yen kanuku than roatlaa oru Alto vandiyum therlaa.. pervious version Alto yengaa parthalum therdhu ... But indha vandi no clue..

@Nagarajan krishnan I put petrol as soon as reserve light is on and reset the trip meter. It gives around 20-22 kmpl on highways (not much difference with ac). 18kmpl without ac in traffic, 10-12kmpl sometimes in traffic 😑 with ac on.

1. Price - Alto 800(basic model 4.15lakhs), i10(basic model 6.7 lakhs)
2. Mileage - Alto 800(20+), i10 (15-/+)
3. Engine - Alto 800(800cc 3 cylinders), I10(1200cc 4 cylinders)
4. I10 is better than 800 in comfort, space, features.
5. 800 is better than i10 in mileage, maintenance, resale, easy parking and city purpose.
Note: test drive both cars, and you can pick better one...all d best❤️

Even NCAP is 5 also..it will not..NCAP is being done under controlled environments against almost stationary target of weights less than 2 tonnes and the speed of the car during crash would be somewhere between 65 and 80 kmph..now are the NCAP based buyers going to drive that car in that speed or a speedong lorry or bus going to weight only 2 tonnes? 🙂 Safe driving is everyone's responsibility..
