Idk if my shop vac was too powerful but cracked open 3 scuffer holes with the air pressure maybe that's where water was getting in but now they're big cracks lol and one has a big hole
I have the same kayak thats a very common place for that damage its a defect the weight of the chair and person puts stress on that part of the kayak feelfree should have renforced that part it catches a lot of weight
Agreed it's a tough area on rigid plastic kayaks. When sit and stand it puts a lot of stress in those corners. I wish it would of had the same plate under the seat that is were your feet go. I now use a crescent lite tackle which I like much better
I have used this Mike to patch holes in my pool liner it even dries underwater . It will seal a hole with 24,000 Gallons of water pressure on it. If you could apply this to both sides i think you would be good to go . Flex seal tape failed but this product did not
Great video, is there one of fixing it?
Unfortunately I did not do a repair video. You need wire mesh, matching plastic, and a plastic welder to make a quality repair.
That's actually a great idea I will definitely have to remember this for future just in case.👍
Thanks 👍 it's a simple way to find the issue then to double check your repairs.
Hope that was the leak 100% and got it fixed if not remember I sent you that link were I bought mine at... Great upload Mike
Definitely is the leak. Will have to take it somewhere as my fixing skills aren't as good as discovering skills.

It sounds like those were the week spots. Hopefully they can be repaired. Let me know if they get fixed and if that stops the leaks.

I guess putting an Amazon link in the comments doesn't work. Type in Anderson flexible sealer it should come up 👍
Thanks 👍 I'll take a look at that. Appreciate you stopping by!
Hope this help you find a leak in your kayak ☺️
