But what do we want to do with these debates about who did what and sighed what 180 years ago? How would this work. Do we scrap democracy, set up an Māori and others …. Something, votes for everyone’s then some xtra for others of an ethnic background. How dose it work. What don’t we like about now, if some group is perceived to not being well ordomepartofthelandisbeingdestriyed, will this fix that or just add another layer of dispute. Not sure the end goal is going to please somehow, or is there and end goal , just disaffection and anger that might just ruin more than it creates? Not sure.
Thank you for your video 💖yes I heard this was to accomadate for the consciousness of the colonisation, our ancestors had to make many sacrifices and adjustments on all levels including religion /Spirituality. 💜✝️However the knowledge has been kept alive to go deeper and find absolute truths that help us cope with the 21st century, we the people of AOTEAROA are truly blessed🙏😇and our Tupuna truly are the people of love. 💜God bless all Whanau and Hapu through out our Whenua. 🙏😇🕊️🌹🌬️🌏Mauri ora. 💎🌌🎇🕊️🕊️🎂
AS recent as 2020-22 Britain has said they did not claim Sovereignty over NZ in the signing of Te Tiriti. reference Historian and academic, Paul Moon ''Māori sovereignty and the Treaty of Waitangi'' and Mānuka Hēnare - He Tohu interview
Kia Ora e Leone Tino pai te korero Humorous explanation of this korero. Does this mean we as tangatawhenua should invest more time and effort to execute the legitimacy of the Declaration of independence since the Busby legitimized it by the 21 gun salute as they raised the flag. Where does that sarcasm of yours come from?
Bullshit!! another colonial perspective what about the kawenata and wakaminenga. Also Maori didn't sign the treaty the signed Te tiriti which reaffirmed their tino rangatiratanga.
@@FlamingOL if they made you watch it then it most definitely may not be the truth lol they only tell you what they want you to believe which is usually lies

I think we all don't see the line up of flags in the background of the painting.
What would have happened if the British didn't come or the treaty didn't get signed
Maori would have traded freely with other nations and build up the country for the modern times.
i want to know how can we use our declaration of independence to remove colonial powers.

my social studies teacher made us watch this video so I guess this video does speak of the truth, otherwise my teacher wouldn't have made us watch it.
Most signed the te reo Māori version, true. And UN recognises the indigenous language version over the original English version.
