Some advice please. We have a rescued green cheek conure, he was with a family for about 7 months (bought from a pet store and hand fed), we got him in a small cage, 2 perches and no toys with a bottom that seemed uncleaned for a moth at least. We bought a bigger cage but it will only arrive in a week. For now we are not taking him out, letting him get to know his new surrounding, only giving some food through the bars. What is the best approach to move him to the new cage when it arrives? Thank you!!!
Unless the cage is dangerously small, you might consider using the old cage just a bit longer until your can train him enough to step up and take him to the new one. In many cases it is easier to do initial training in a smaller rather than larger cage.
These birds r so cool!! (As r all!)😊 This conure looks like our bird Raja!!❤❤❤
Great advice, thanks 😊
The hand held perch is such a simple yet good idea. I could have saved myself from some bites.
For sure
I miss my Sun so much!
