    Also try not to land on your heels, keep but rather the pads of your feet. This will help your knees in the long run.

    I think I have weak knees, cause jumping on a trampoline made me feel them for 2 days. 2 nights ago I did squats with a weight and now my knees hurt, but I feel that I worked my legs good. Idk, I'm worried.

    heres my deal...hada bad motorcycle crash. i cant squat or dead lift. so im now accepting tips on lower body movements. i do leg ext while sitn on the bed, ill pull a band tied to an object for the hams..ill do kneeling raises and glute bridges.
    im working with a crushed foot/ankle. pelvis is broke front and back, and some other breaks. the crash was 11 months ago so the bones are healed. theres metal in those pelvic areas.

    Why no duck feet? I thought bc certain ppls hips r built differently, one can use a wider stance if it’s more comfortable. I’m genuinely interested no trying to be rude.

      I think it’s so that you activate the right muscles while jumping, I could be wrong

    I remember when I started jumping too high. I made the jump but just barely and on one of the jumps my feet missed and my shins scraped down the box. This was the first time I ever tried box jumping as well and it hurt my confidence for a while. I have some awesome scars now though.

    Unless you're duck footed like me...
    If I put my feet completely straight, my knees are are pointed inwards a bit.

      Try to externally rotate your thighs while keeping the feet straight.

    Haha. I used a gymnastics board to dunk once. I hit the board with my shoulders, rim at chest/belly level and that was incredible. What wasn't incredible was my landing. Yeeooouch! Felt the shock of landing through my feet, ankles, shin and legs. This coming from two tree trunks of healthy legs and being a triathlon junkie. That HUURT landing. Never dunked again. 😁

      @@TheDarshSurana I dunno. I'm 44 and just started trying jumping rope this week again. I'm not worried about jumping high onto a trash can, but I imagine hopping around anyhow you can would make you feel good. When I would bicycle with my feet straight my knees used to hit the high center bar. It's that bad for me.
