In India we keep our Lemon skins and other citrus fruit skins to dry in the sun and then powder them to add to Shikakai powder - Which is an Ayurvedic hair cleansing product, very good for strengthening hair root and reducing hair fall.
@@kardoxfabricanus7590 Simply try beer shampoo or, for starters, rinse your hair with beer. You'll be surprised by the impact.

@Arthur K do you use a particular type of beer, like Lager or dark beer or will regular beer work too?
@@meeks299 any beer you like. Hops contain many natural essential vitamins and oils which work together to help to open up the pores on your scalp, which reduce hair loss and help to create thicker, more lustrous and stronger hair.

What do u. call the wood platform which he used to cut lemons
Only do this with organic lemons or those labelled as peel suitable for comsumptions!
Many grocery store lemons have large amounts of pesticides and preservertives on the peel making it not suitable to be eaten (it often even says so on the label)
Even unwaxed ones have it on. Organic ones are rare, sadly
@dshe8637 at least in most of Europe, it needs to be labelled if it's not safe for consumption
@@theninja4137 yes, definitely
was about to saÿ ,what if my veg in not organic
That's good to know, actually.
I’ve found that freezing the lemon skin and then grating it on salads and pretty much any food adds a refreshing touch to every meal, good stuff
trying this
Thanks for this tip!
Unless the peels are washed in baking soda, you are just adding poison pesticides on their food 😢
@@virtualenvironmentfellowsh6671 the lemons I grow in my backyard have pesticides in them?
Who just uses the lemon juice and throws away the yellow peel with all its essential oils misses the best thing.
I'm so happy I found this channel, this is what the internet should be used for
I just cut up some garlic cloves, throw it in with half a lemon, cup of organic juice, chop up roughly some ginger to taste, add a half a cup of water and blend it with a couple pieces of ice.
Skin and all, it’s a great drink if you are sick.
And if you aren't sick
I really hope you share more tea recipes soon🙂

OTHER USES FOR RIND:
Limocello: 12 lemons, first wash and gently dry lemons, then peel the rind making sure no pith (white part) is attached. Place in glass jar and pour over 750ml vodka or, better if it is available, 190 proof grain alcohol. Be sure rind is cometely covered with alcohol. Screw on lid and store in a dry, cool, dark place for 4days to 6 weeks. The alcohol should be a bright yellow snd the rinds should look white. Strain out the rinds (I compost mine) and reserve the lemony alcohol. Male simple syrup (3.5 c water with 2.5c sugar). Combine the alcohol with the syrup. Refridgerate. Serve straight or over ice.

One summer I experimented with lemon peels.
Did you know, you can take the peels and ferment them to a nice fizzle "sods".
It surprisingly tastes like orange juice.
Just take Cane sugar, a few lemon peels and h20 and let it sit until it all rises or bubbles up and then do a 2nd ferment if you wish for flavor and carbonation
Interesting
You Are Fantastic Thanks!
That tea blend looks scrumptious
Yo, what?!!! That tea blend is crazy bro. I. Need that how to video on that tea my boy.
I need a dehydrator! I'm putting in a tea garden this year! The less I have to mow, the better
A tea garden 🤔
My uncle used screens from windows to dehydrate Mushrooms in the sun.
You can put them in your oven on low
Need to see more of that cat😊
I remember that There's a korean honey lemon tea that's in a jar using the whole sliced lemon because of this. And it's a very good tea for winter season or if you have a cold with irritating sore throat.
Except for taking honey from bees is like taking milk from cows it's a natural and so are they. It's very sad. I understand honey may have some minerals and things in it. But it's just not ours.
Its Citron. Its called 유자차

I love the way you utilise the thing 😊
Spicy you are such an inspiration and all of your videos are masterpieces 💛
You can put them in a plastic box and freeze them up and you have lemon zest to grate for your dishes and deserts.
Also, if you have really good, fresh lemons that you can actually feel the lemon oil on the peel when you frixtion your f8nger on it, well, those are the best for making liquor (like limoncello).
You can also make candied lemon peels, just like with oranges or ceder. Afterwords, you have occasional treat, put 'em in your baking recepies, or you can even dip 'em in dark chocolate... so good!
Great ideas.
Yo man you got an awesome garden. Wish more ppl would appreciate what that meant.
Thanks for your recipes Alessandro.

I would 100% recommend making some lemon jam, just use the rind and the left over pulp then add it to a pot with sugar and simply follow the same steps to make any jam, it's super delicious and goes great on toast for breakfast 😊
Best before the lemon is juiced or after? It sounds delicious.
