Brandon, our “livestream” is limited to Facebook. It will NOT let me record in horizontal mode. My phone is not locked vertically-do you have any idea how to fix this? I wonder if it’s a Facebook thing.
Hey! Hope y’all are doing well!! So I looked it up and found a forum that mentioned the same issues that started out of nowhere. No real adjustments were mentioned but one person said they are able to livestream in landscape mode by going live through Facebooks Business Suite App (formally Facebook Pages). Let me know if it works and If you need more help, let me know as well. Thanks. 😊
@@ALLTHINGSSMALLCHURCH Can I ask for ideas to raise money in this covid time? Our Church is once again closed by the government and we're struggling financially. Thank you.
So....I know some of these may be limited right now, but maybe it will spark an idea or two. We have done easy meals (like chicken spaghetti) for a fundraiser and did them as a to-go only type thing. Also, one that we have done during a time we were shut down was an online bake sale. We posted a picture of the items on our facebook page and had like a two hour window. It worked well and we raised a good amount. Most of our fundraisers....we try to sell something...but we re-iterate that its a fundraiser so people don't get caught up on a price (like paying $20 for a church shirt). We let them know that maybe half of the money is for the item and the other half of the cost is to raise the funds. Usually for us....as long as we are straightforward with what the need is, most of the time people get behind the need and help give above and beyond. Hope that helps. Good Luck!
There's so much wrong with this but instead of causing trouble (as I usually do). I'll just go for the obvious. 1Big UA-cam presenter mistake. MIC THE PRESENTER. So they don't sound like they are presenting from the bathroom. Well, unless they are presenting from the bathroom. Then you have other issues. If I were to make a video, one big mistake I see on the church media group on FB. Connecting a line level out to mic level in. Then the mystery. Why does our sound suck? Operator error.
Thanks for your feedback Glynne. I am currently using the Rode Wireless Go for a mic. Usually I attach it to shirt/jacket, but I don’t like the muffled bass that it has when I use it with this camera and it’s attached on me. So I thought I would try it mounted off of the camera to see what it sounded like. Needless to say, I agree with you, I didn’t like it...but I decided to post this video anyways. As soon as I have the money saved up, I am hoping to get the lapel that goes with the Rode Wireless Go and that should resolve the issue. As far as the other mistake that you mentioned that others do from time to time, I agree. There’s obviously a lot more mistakes people make. These 10 were the ones that stuck out to me. I’m not claiming to know it all. I’m just trying to share the experiences I have had and share it with the equipment I have/can afford. Have a good day.
Great advice!!! Thank you for sharing from your experience!
