Heyy yall, i'm still here!
I have like 30 unfinished projects that are staring angrily at me rn, but after last week's ep i had to do this one, cuz tbh I wouldn't have the chance again. When I started this show, I never thought that I would actually have to say goodbye to Rini. Like, ever. They seemed like the perfect endgame and I wasn't concerned about them ending up together or not, until the whole drama started and I just knew that was the end for them. I never found it in myself to edit them after that break up in s2, but now I just wanted to say goodbye to them in the only way I know.
When I started this show I was in a really dark spot. It was March 2020, the c0v!d situation had just started + i had gotten into this big fight with my closest person, and I started watching HSMTMTS to get some distraction. But then I saw what it was about, and that whole "why can't you say i love you" plotline fvcked me up really hard, cuz i used to be on that same spot. On Ricky's spot, not Nini's. I knew how it felt like to not be able to express how you feel cuz no one ever really made you feel that way + you're always scared of the other person destroying your feelings by not returning them. When you're used to everyone leaving you, you don't want to risk it by driving someone else away from you. Especially if they mean so much to you. So, those stuff are scary. Watching him say it at the end made me cry like a 2-year-old cuz it was just beatiful and so well acted out. My own situation wasn't any different tho- but i won't talk about that now.
Let's just say that there are only a few couples out there that I actually felt personally close to, and Rini is one of them. I can't believe that every couple that means this much ends up being broken up, drifted apart or something of the sort. I really want to see a couple that I relate to get their happy ending, FOR ONCE. Mileven, i'm counting on you🤧
Anyway. I've wanted to edit every single one of Joshua's songs ever since I've heard them, and this one is a personal favorite (yes, another relatable thing, bruh). No one is ever going to convince me that Nini and Ricky didn't look "not as over each other as they thought they were"😩 I wanted at least one interaction, but i guess that was too much for the actors smh. I hope that she'll get back on the show for the finale and we'll get another scene of them, but we'll see. I choose to see HSMTMTS S1 as a completely separate show from the rest of the seasons, cuz I want to believe that second chances are possible and that no matter how broken you are, you can always find someone to love you just as much as you love them.
oh, and did i mention all transitions are done in AE? they're still not that good but i'm trying!
I want to dedicate this to my closest person cuz it wouldn't feel right if the vid was for anyone else (yes, i promise it has nothing to do with the fact that I've dedicated most of my vids to him- shut up). I've had some thoughts on us for the past few days but I hope they'll pass cuz i'm just an insecure a*s yknow...

o-m-g this is so GOOD. girl, i can sense the overwhelming smell of after effects from miles away. before anything, i want to say how proud i am of you for using the program you probably hate the most and the progress you're doing! I'm so happy that you're improving your edits day by day in every possible section of video editing. even tho i stopped (postponed) hsmtmts i really like them as a couple and i don't see ricki with anyone else tbh. just because olivia rodrama is so not over joshlove, it doesn't mean that they should totally ruin a couple which was stated at the beginning but go off i guess, hormones. i want to say loud and clear that i'm no joshua's side and he definitely didn't deserve the hate and d9ath threats he received just bc one breakup with a girl. this isn't fair and it won't be, especially that olivia didn't even properly address it. so yeah. but anyway, i love them and i'm once again happy that you dedicate your video to me because it means so much! i hope they will bring her back just for a brief moment in the end of the series but we'll see (hopefully i would watch it till then lmao) or it will be another delena case (which I'm totally pissed off about). thank you so much for the words and i hope i can erase your insecurities with the time. love you too!

I'M NOT AS OVER THEM AS I THOUGHT😭😭😭PLS I will never forgive the writers for the fact that there isn't even one interaction with them this season (which ik is related to the drama but still) They were literally THE couple of the show idc idc nothing can top them and the edit really did justice to they're story and it's heartbreaking downfall 😒The text and the transitions are just flawless as always omg ALSO in my head they got back together in s2 and are now functioning well through long distance :)
Rightt i was SO mad. This whole time i thought they'd see each other at least once, but nope🥲 i get the drama happened but they still should've cared for the fans enough for at least one scene. Ugh.

the way i know rini is definitely over and end of season 3 was the last goodbye for them i will forever miss them
even tho rina can bring us some good story and people will eventually like it, i don't think anyone could ever forget about season 1 and rini relationship
Pretty sure they would have made it. It's Olivia's decision to leave the show that screwed it up. They had to write her out and any chance for them. It's why I stopped watching. It's no longer canon. Beautiful video by the way, incredibly raw.

Did anyone else think that Nini giving him the lottery ticket meant more than just a gift? Idk when I first saw the scene it just seemed like it meant more to Ricky and Gina looked kinda jealous about the whole thing
This is just 🤌 Masterpiece…master…PIECE! I always love your editing because it just blends so smoothly and I’m just always left in awe. And the “there you are” parallels!! And the “I love you” part with the text and transitions, it’s so smooth 😭 I think my weakness will always be when the voiceovers match the song so when Ricky says “I’m not ready for it to be over” and the song goes “guess I’m not as over you as I thought” is perfect!! And I can really tell how much you love these two and I hope some how they come back to each other for you!! :)

hello! sadly, they did not end up together, but it's always up to our imagination where the characters ended up in the future. I choose to believe they found each other again🥰

Even though I like Ricky and Gina, RICKY AND NINI WERE BETTER THEY SHOULDVE HAD ANOTHER CHANCE! Ricky and Gina’s chemistry is cute I’ll admit, but it’s something that should’ve been done with him and Nini in my opinion, like, take notes, Rini! I know they were toxic but remember Second Chances? They should’ve had a second chance.
