Pokemon Uranium - Nuclear Plant Zeta [🎷📖]

- 10 years ago, the up-and-coming Professor Larkspur instilled hope in the residents of the Tandor region that they would benefit from a safe and ethical way to generate nuclear energy with the assistance of Pokemon. The robust reactor design at Nuclear Plant Epsilon was never in dispute, so the meltdown disaster was a particular blow to the pride of the people of Tandor and to Larkspur's reputation.
In fact, to this day, some suggest that the conventional narrative doesn't add up -- the meltdown couldn't have happened the way the traditional narratives say it did
...Further, while the discovery of irradiated Pokemon has been considered by most to be a purely natural reaction to low level radiation exposure, some suspect that these Pokemon represent unethical testing (perhaps by Professor Larkspur himself) to create "radiation cats" that would serve as a strong cultural ward against the investigation of nuclear waste disposal sites for thousands of years.
Perhaps when Larkspur's plans were rejected by the Tandor Nuclear Regulatory Agency, Larkspur engineered a way to commence the experiment anyway...regardless, we now must live with the phenomenon of nuclear pokemon.

this is sooooooo interesting and cool!!! wow!! im surprised but as equally flattered to get to hear the nuclear plant theme in such a totally different style . . . . the mix of saxophone and gritty synth bass is👌👌👌👌imo it's a simple song but i love what u brought to it, like the epic buildup around 3:40 . great work, always cute to see when ppl remember pokemon uranium, even years down the line . . . . thanks for taking the time to make something fresh with it!!
I've definitely had a few tracks stuck in my head for YEARS so I thought I should finally get around to putting the arrangement out! Must do everything to keep the memory of Uranium alive!
This is excellent! I haven’t heard any other lyrical adaptations of Uranium before this, and it displays both the hopelessness and morbid curiosity the player has scrounging through this infected wasteland.
I would love to see your interpretations on songs from other Pokémon fan games if you’d be interested in doing them, particularly Pokémon Insurgence. The game’s battle themes are some of the best the Pokémon games have ever got, and even the title theme is excellent! Awesome video!
I love the lyrics and arrangement - it perfectly captures the feeling of uneasiness here!
I won't spoil the game for anyone who wants to play it, but finding such a solid connection between the Nuclear Pokemon and the ultimate villain makes this song so much more interesting... You put in so much effort to truly understand the stories you're covering!
Comments like these are the best -- I hope that my cover stories can be a good intro for people who aren't familiar with particular games, but that they will have enough depth that people who already are familiar with get that as well!
This is an awesome cover and I really love how the lyrics connect to pokemon uranium's story.
Amazing work!
Wow this is so awesome! I love the visuals in this and it sounds amazing!!!
I love how your covers always go beyond just the music.
Glad other people like it! It's so much fun to put all the different pieces together with the music :D
this place may not be a place of honor but still going to brave the comments section!
love those dance moves and expressions and vocals!
This place may not be a place of honor, but all of the comments here are HIGHLY ESTEEMED. 🤗There 🤗is 🤗value 🤗here🤗.
It's cool to see new Pokemon Uranium arrangements nowadays, especially one that's so creative! Nice arrangement and performance
this track has been stuck in my head for y e a r s lmao
Nicely done! Great visual interest and video concept. Love the dancing at 04:00 ;)
I had some elaborate choreography originally planned in my mind, and then i was like, "haha, lazy" and toned it way down hahahahaha
I really like how you layered the voices, really works well.
Thank you sooo much! I was really struggling with some aspects of it -- this is definitely still an area I'm continuing to work on.
Super creative arrangement! Love the instrumentation, and a really smart use of the Geiger counter crackling to add to the atmosphere! Great job!
Hey I lost access of my own brand account on youtube can you help me😭?
You'll need to tweet @TeamUA-cam to get access to the right next steps. If they don't seem to be responding, please reach out via my business email with the tweet you sent to them.
Andrew S Please help me. You already saved my channel once. Two hours ago they stole my youtube email again. You are my only hope. Please.
I responded to your other comment about this
I like how you tell a cool story with the vocal harmonies, along with the saxophone arrangement. It's refreshing and your performance is very entertaining, nice work!
Thanks so much! Been exploring the interplay of lyrics w/ my normal story concept!
@@subversiveasset the radiation made a window into the minds of Pokemon and what they see in their world but can only say their names! Haha
@@soundsandstuff the brilliant thing here is Pokemon uranium also had one of the Pokemon professors develop a Pokemon speech translator - so that is totally consistent with the lore (although no singing Pokemon in game...missed opportunity lol)
@@subversiveasset imagine if someone made a speech translator for cats, dogs, pets haha 💰
Your arrangement and you mix is always such a treat, as are your performances.
That guillotine line is straight up catchy.
you've done an incredible work
3:37 I guess so
a wild idea executed brilliantly!
Thank you very much!
@@subversiveasset you are very welcome my dude!
Liked the Geiger counter effect. Need to give your song a descriptive title like Emperor X's "10,000-Year Earworm to Discourage Settlement Near Nuclear Waste Repositories (Don't Change Color, Kitty)" haha. Nice job! (For anyone curious, the history of long-term nuclear waste warning messages, including the "Raycats" referenced in the video, is pretty interesting X) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-term_nuclear_waste_warning_messages )
I definitely had an "era" of creative video titling and I actually still want to experiment with that, buuuuut also I'm aware I'm probably making the videos even less approachable than they already struggle to be, so yeah
