If that be the case, no one would risk securing these high profile people because of the situations they could land in due to their client's actions. If Gene is called into court to testify on anything, he can only testify to what he knows, but as far as we know, Gene didn't eyewitness any rape or physical abuse of anybody, even with Kim (rest her soul). With Kim, Gene said he brought Puff to her place, Puff went inside, something happened while Puff was in there....But did he actually see Puff lay hands on Kim, no, he can't testify to that. There are a lot of things Gene saw, I'm sure, but to what extent of what he witnessed can actually hold up in court? Far as I'm concerned, DL swung and missed.
Most people aren't saying he's complicit as much as he had a moral obligation to report it or get away from it, but he did neither. There's a certain inhumanity to have this many first-hand stories. 😔

He did side gigs as security....why? He wanted to make extra money. Living in NYC is not cheap, even back in the 90s. I would say he kept a moral code. He didn't engage in anything. He knew right from wrong. He knew if he witnessed something criminal and didn't report it, his career in law enforcement would have been over. Have you noticed this one thing..... All these women came up with accusations and and none of them mentioned Gene. He didn't touch anyone. He didn't engage in the drugs or sex parties. With Kim, Gene said he brought Puff to her place, Puff went inside, something happened while Puff was in there....But did he actually see Puff lay hands on Kim, no, he can't testify to that. There are a lot of things Gene saw, I'm sure, but to what extent of what he witnessed can actually hold up in court? Far as I'm concerned, DL swung and missed.

This goes back to a previous comment I made about Gene Deal in regards to ethics. He comes off as the sort of individual who would turn a blind eye to inappropriate and criminal behavior if he was getting paid. As a matter of fact, his deep dislike for Puffy appears to stem from the fact that he feels like Puffy didn’t pay him right. Had Puffy paid Gene Deal, he’d not have been trashing Puffy the way he’s been doing. I’ve never trusted Gene Deal and now I’m glad that others are finally calling him out.
