I was a sophomore in HS and my dad pulled me out of school bc he surprised me with tickets to this game for my birthday. By far the best gift I could've received. Thanks for bringing back the good memories!
I was 40 yrs old and my dad surprised me with tickets as well......good memories. I know those tickets cost my dad a bundle as they were from a season ticket holder who was looking to pay for his next seasons tickets from selling off certain play off game tickets.
Sure, but Derek Holland made it pretty easy for the Giants thanks to his total inability to hit the strike zone. Not that I complained when I watched this game live!
you don’t get enough appreciation for making these videos but i love them, keep up the good work, and thank you for taking the time to make them to relive the best moments from my favorite team on the planet.
Can't believe when people talk about best postseasons by a pitcher, no one brings up Cain's 2010 postseason. When they think of the 2010 postsesson, they think of Lincecum and while Timmy was great, Matt Cain was much better, especially in the NLCS and WS
He doesn't get enough credit, no. But while Timmy's game 1 was subpar (if ultimately effective), his game 5 performance was amazing. I guess the solo hr takes a little shine off it, but otherwise it was an all-time performance to clinch the series.
@MushiePuppet17 it also doesn't help Cain that he didn't pitch more than once in any series. And they lost one of his games. Timmy, meanwhile, went twice in the LCS and WS against Halladay and Lee, going a combined 3-1
Zach Holland was a total clown on and off the field during his time in SF. The players seemed to like him but as a fan I found his ego to be far bigger then his game ever was/is.
What a brilliant group of players, all smart, fundamentally sound, mentally tough, everything you want in a team. Wish the Padres could put together a run like this.
I'm from Boston and I'm a huge Giants fan. I was a fan as a kid until Bonds came on. Then I didn't follow as intently. I was not a fan of any of the heavy roid users. Then when he left, I came right back in. I was so excited to see them win this series.
6:33 u dont know how long ive tried to find this homerun fake out hit. i couldnt remember which year, team, and game. all i knew is when it happened it was daytime and the opposite team at giants stadium. im so glad i got to see this shit again i remember watching that and was like holy shit we got so lucky LMFAO

Great story! Thanks for sharing.

One of the best two out rallies I’ve ever seen

1st 2 guys get out then the Giants score 7, that was amazing, who knows what could have happened had it remained 2-0 in the 9th

HeyItsMikoo both were incredible but in 10 Timmy gets the edge for better pitcher for me
Timmy set the tone in Game 1 NLDS. That was masterful
The horse

I can’t believe the Giants brass looked at Holland and thought “he’d be good fit for this team.”
Zach Holland was a total clown on and off the field during his time in SF. The players seemed to like him but as a fan I found his ego to be far bigger then his game ever was/is.
They did the same with Tim Hudson two series earlier, and they did the same with Cueto in Cincinnati 2 years later even after only .1 innings pitched.
@@stephendre2902 ...Zach?
Best Giants channel
Aww, it's missing one of the better McCarver quips. "The Giants are winning with pitching .... but not theirs"
Took this dynasty for granted as a kid all I wish is to relive this 😂😂
I remember watching this when it happened. Rangers bullpen completely fell apart.
Two nights in a row the Ranger Bullpen COMPLETELY imploded.
What a brilliant group of players, all smart, fundamentally sound, mentally tough, everything you want in a team.

What a time...
6:37 There are no cheap home runs in the house that Bonds built.

That shot of Nelson Cruz at the end of the game.. he knew the series was over
The Texas Cainsaw Massacre
Thanks for these
3:42 giardelli square
We Giants fans are a loud raucous bunch!
Best 8th inning in Giants history ?
This was the game when the Giants discovered that Texas had NO bullpen and that the Series was basically a done deal.

6:51 boink
CJ Wilson, starting pitcher.
If I recall all the experts sports reporters predicted 2010, 2012 and 2014 predicted the Giants would lose in four. They are not experts.
