After I finished reading this book, I had only one thing to say... What the f**k just happened at the end...it disappointed me because I love books that have a clear conclusion so that we have a sense of satisfaction reading the complete story....
Spoilers-ish Ahead…. I think the “point” of the ending, if you will, is the concept of these mysteries and unsolved cases in our timeline of a world. How these people vanish without a trace, or someone blinks into existence seemingly out of nowhere. I think it was almost like a “what happens to those who have these paranormal/mysterious encounters?” The ending with Eve-Emma where she is and Charlie and Shylo in another world still searching… Thomas, or whatever entity he was controlled by, was the “rope” pulling Eve into a new timeline where he is in control, after tampering with his timeline. I think he might have been an entity that can manipulate cracks in the worlds, like the Bermuda Triangle or the house in this story, and cross timelines and realities?? Maybe? I could be very wrong but, that’s my interpretation of it.
Hi Kasturi, I have now finished and have watched your spoiler section. THANK GOODNESS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO SAID ..... "What happened? What did we read. Nothing was explained! I do believe that the entity came from Norway and that is why so much time was spent on the fauna and animals. What were the dogs about? If the people were not who they appeared to be, then who the heck were they???? So many questions." If you learn anything, please let us know!
Hello Kasturi, I was happy to find your review of We Used to Live Here as I have just started reading and am collecting clues and decoding the Morse Code as I go along. Everyone says it is so scary, I'm afraid to keep reading!!! Thank you for your non-spoiler review. I don't want to know the ending!!
@@elizabethandrus3848 Hi! Glad you have picked this one up! 😊 It is indeed very creepy and a perfect read for this time. And yes, there is definitely a lot to uncover. I really hope you enjoy it! 😊
@@iheartacebear It is written by the original author 😊 You can even check out a lot of his interviews on UA-cam regarding what he included in this published novel and what more to come in his upcoming books!
