- Curtain needs to be removed to insert new glides. This hack solves that problem.
Curtain rail glides snapped and replaced with quick hack.
Thank you so much for this. My existing glider fittings have got brittle with time and UV damage and I've been putting off dealing with it because I can't take the curtain track down by myself, and it's in a pelmet with minimal space at the end of the track. I'll try to remove one of the broken ones to double check size before I order new ones but it'll be fantastic NOT to have droopy curtains😍
Thanks so much for this hack. There is no hole at the end of my old school traverse rod to slide the glides into. I was hanging new drapes and trying to figure out how to add the glides on without removing the entire rod and other hardware when I saw your UA-cam post. Thanks soooo much. It worked awesomely.
Thanks so much, I was having a big problem with the glide
Great! The manufacturer should make them that way to begin with.
Thank you so much for this hack. I was dreading fixing the same situation. You just made my day.
I couldn't slide the glide in, the sides of the rail are so close to the wall. Thank U...
Thank you, thank you so much.😊😊
So helpful!!! Thank you!
Sir! Are all sliders suitable for the rods?
Thank you!
Best hack thanks
No, you do not need to do that. There’s a hole at the end of the track where you can slide in your gliders.
the point of the videos is what to do if you dont want to take the whole curtain off, just to get one slider in.
Thank you!
