This is funny. My husband and I will be married for 8 years come January 15th and expecting our 3rd baby girl in January. Our story is so similar. We got married after church and his family showed up. We was so convicted that the Lord spoke to both of us to "either do it now or don't do it at all" he walked in the other room where I was and said the same thing I heard God spoke and we called or pastor and he didn't answer 😁. He left a message and I fell asleep and when I got up hours later he had spoke to him and agreed to do the ceremony. It was suppose to be private in his office but he announced it to the church during service and we had a lot of people including family after church watching us get married. He made it a wedding with his robe on,one of the musicians song and played the music,we took communion and everything 😀😀😀. I was like dang where all these people come from and we didn't do the traditional dress and suit. I picked out his suit and he picked out a dress for me that he liked. The funny part was his mom had on a similar dress the same color. That day was wonderful and that wasn't all the story lol 😁 😂 😂 😂. We still going strong after all these years. We talk about how we got together,how the proposal in the bed just talking happened,the first time, when we tried being celibate before marriage lol 😁 😂 😂. Oh the good times we had and still happily married to this day. All the couples we know who had big weddings, parties and lavish proposals aren't even together anymore which is sad.
