The problem is kolkata has got dense traffic. I'm working for 12 years now. My specialization is IC engine. I recommend purging the exhaust system every 3 weeks. (Diesel engine only) How to do it? Just rev to full throttle with no load for 10 seconds(at operating temperature) Do it 3 times or until when no smoke is noticed. It'll be healthy for your diesel engine.
