This is great stuff. I really enjoyed it. One rules issue is that Field Commander only makes tactical upgrades permanent on minions and not the villain. Any tactic on the villain retains the Temporary keyword.
Very interesting way of depicting a game. Simple, effective, easy to follow, and really gets into the exciting part. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight to see my favorite X-Man, Colossus, be the one who shows up at the final hour, reinvigorating Cyclops and clinching the victory for the mutants! Good work showing everything that goes into an attack, including all the modifiers from boost icons, card effects, and stats. I love all of that, illustrating each step of each turn and keeping it really concise. All of that is stellar work and really well done. But I'm gonna say it, people are gonna get on my case but I'm sticking to my guns: Fuck this AI voice shit. It's nice to listen to a script that details the game in a cinematic manner, but these AI voices are just trash at communicating that idea. It's so consistent and unaware of tone, which makes it _barely_ acceptable as a narrator but utterly atrocious when you start trying to have characters speak to each other. No voice sounded right and none of them had the pizazz I expect out of something like this. The AI on the visuals I also don't like, but whatever, I can accept using AI to reduce a bit of technical workload even if I think doing it by hand will give you your own unique style, but these voices gotta go. I don't expect you to recruit a troupe of voice actors just to give one or two random lines for a video you make as a fun hobby, but surely you can narrate your own script and do your best impressions so these characters feel like they're coming alive. Everyone has the same tone, meaning Cyclops sounds like Magneto sounds like Nightcrawler sounds like Wolverine. It's uncanny (and not in the good "Uncanny X-Men" way!) and really dulls the impact of these myriad characters coming together. Maybe you can find some friends to do a little voice work for you on the side. Hell, I'd do it if someone asked me, I'm just an amateur but I like to try to put my own energy into things that you'll never get from an AI. _Even a rookie would be preferred over an AI,_ because a rookie will get better, but an AI _won't._ An AI simply doesn't have the context or the tone that you're looking to communicate, not the way a human voice will understand. That's my dealbreaker. If the AI voices continue, I can't be bothered to care even if absolutely everything else is great. If you can fix that one problem, I'll be a proud supporter.
Thank you so much for your passionate reply! Yes I agree with you, the voices are one of the weakest aspects of the video. If I had money and more time, I could make them better. However this was about the best I could do without spending any cash - and yet it still took me about a month to make. But I'll be looking for creative ways to make this aspect better. Future videos will have incremental improvements. I make these more as an experiment to test new concepts and tools since I work as a video editor. Thank you for taking the time to express your opinion - it's very helpful!
@@cg_134 I am positive you can find free voice work if you put out that you are looking for volunteer hobby work and credit the person appropriately. So long as you are not taking advantage of someone's generosity, I think people are willing to make some time for you, especially if you are open to giving the spotlight to rookies and people who aren't quite the top crust of the field. So long as the audio quality is good and they're doing their best, it'll make something like this notably better. At the very least, I'm glad to hear it's just "well, it gets me off the ground for now" rather than "AI is the future, old man, I'll never need a human voice again!" I am interested to see your incremental improvements and new ideas. I, too, use video editing as a way to explore my software and find new tricks and tools to take advantage of, and I find it quite fun!
This is so cool! Nice work!

This is so cool!!!
Great video! That must take you some time to put together. Great work!
Thank you! This one took me about a month to edit which was longer than usual. My time was so divided among other projects.

Yeah, I caught that later. I wasn't experienced playing Cyclops. Learning.
Just amazing production 👏. Such a fun series
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the narrative. Look foward to more.
Thanks. I hope to make more. They just take a lot of time to edit.
Simply the BEST gameplay I've ever seen.
Thank you!
This is top quality game play.
Thanks!
This was really good
Thank you!
Magneto would still take consequencal damage after attack the sential. His response happens first and then Consequencal damage resolves.
Yeah, I'm rusty on those timings. Thank you
Came here to say this

I don’t love the AI voice 😅
Thanks for watching and the comment! What about the voice don't you like?
@ I don’t know, it’s just kind of creepy to me haha…it would be cooler with you narrating!
