Persona 3 has the characters shoot themselves with gun-shaped devices, Persona 5 has then rip off mask (and it looks like it hurts the first time), and this game has the players rip out a heart like device. Altus seems to like coming up with painful power-up methods.
@@truetimewatcher I know that. But i felt that was really stupid call the base form Thief. Come on, he uses a katana and his magic animation is literally ninjutsu hand signs. Thieves don't do that.
@ClefGamerFilosofo What I realized is that as they become elite, the Archetypes become more specific, with the base one being a broader outline. Warrior to Samurai, Knight to Paladin, etc. Rogue could have worked as the base, too. But the reason it's thief into ninja is simply cuz it's the archetype (literary, not ingame specific) of a stealthy blade user turning from more general into more specific of a vibe.
This guy has the most "wait wtf" reaction out of the bunch so far when the mysterious awakening voice from the sky kicks in. Must be the big ears.

It's definitely about how grappling with emotional pain is necessary to achieve one's full potential. It's a good message

They could even gone to something simple. Something like "Ninja > Ninja Master" would've worked.
