I have two cats one outside and her sister is inside and I give love to them both. I talk to them both and pet them both as much as I can.
As I'm mostly bed bound these days, I don't get out often due to chronic pains from a cracked ribcage.
But when I have to make any errands, I always leave on my laptop with cat-tv for my Maia to watch.
They are amazing companions! 💜
I talk to my cat often (I work at home, so that helps). When I found out at the vet that kitty was a girl and not a boy, I started calling her Muggsi Blanche instead of just Muggsy and she soon responded to the change. I don't hold with mirrors etc. 'cause it just frustrated my kitty 'cause she can't pounce on a reflection. She's got a great hunter instinct and does better when she can follow through with a toy or treat. Yep, she pounces on and plays with homemade treats before eating them, lol.

My won't have much to do with me, but I have 2 dogs,1 likes to chase the cat, the other dog, I have seen her and the cat rubbing heads together. There is stray cat that hangs out in the back yard, I put food and water out for and at times my cat will sit by the sliding back door and watch the stray cat.
I have 3 cats and now I a human back scratcher they get around my feet and wait for their turn.
I'm starting a bad habit with my maines he lays next to me and I rub his chin while he takes a nap I know he likes it bc he seeks it out and he is so cute his head is on my thigh and I dare you to say to him it's literally impossible
