Thank you! I’ve got one I need to feed, all the others show them taking it with no issue. My little lady is being a bit of a pest about it. This was helpful
she doesn’t really make sure 😅 but i’m a perfect world you’ll have a buddy feel their neck, you should be able to feel two tubes, the trachea and then esophagus with the tub in it, the esophagus is usually flat and not palpable normally. And listen for coughing when inserting the tube 😊
In most instances, calves should be given the opportunity to drink on their own either from a bottle or a bucket. There are times, though that calves can't or won't drink and knowing how to use an esophageal feeder to feed them during these times is critical to saving their lives.
How much pressure should u apply . Usually they will swallow the tube but I have one right now that it won't go down . It feels like i have to use to much force. Any advice ?
All your videos are tremendously helpful. I have used them several times as training tools, thank you so much for making them.

Opens stomach for stenosis
Of course it's standing. What a joke. Do the hard case which is 90% of the time, laying down or sitting and weak
Smh🙄
This is horrible. give it to them without ramming it down their necks

Nice video for learning. Thanks.
That's how you do it. If a calf can't or won't take a bottle, it will die. There's nothing wrong with tube feeding.
@@milkspecialtiesglobalanima7250 You are absolutely right.....this procedure is for emergency only
