consider this a new favorite. i have high standards for creepypastas and this one well and truely met them. it was imaginative, kept its tone well throughout, and was paced very well. all characters were used as well. very fun listen
When I worked customer service of any kind I had people say things like those customers trying to get the guy in/to their car just about every 3 customers. I wish I had worked at this shop and had a button to press too.
Why would the store people be so worried about his safety and protect him with security and have strict rules about not leaving with any customer, if they will just sell them to be killed off? Makes no sense, and literally no one would stay there after witnessing it for the first time. Too bad, story had promise.
Bc they sell their employees too so of course they gonna take care of th employees. And if they're is no employee left who th special guy wanna purchase then th manager is gonna be in trouble i guess
I don't think anyone can just leave... The manager knows who the employees are and where they live... Even if they would tell the police or stuff like that I believe they are protected against the law... It's the same vibe as John Wick where the government or authorities just ignore that dangerous organizations and businesses exist..fearing they would be killed.
Didn't like the main character much. Like, could have obviously known that illegal activity was happening, you watched a guy get moidered right in front of you, get to the end and leave the money? Didn't follow up on that tailor job offer? You're in it now girl, quitting and running away doesn't make that stuff go away it puts it in the shadows.
