Those who are thinking of watching the lecture series, Do a valuation on a company after this. When he says "You learn Cooking by doing it not just watching" he means it. I learned a lot more by doing an actual Valuation than by just watching his videos. See you at the Finish Line.

hey sumantha! hope you're doing well. Just started with the lectures. How to start practicing valuation? like just wanted to know the start point.

But we have to know the Recipe First Before Cooking
Similarly, first we have to watch all the videos properly,Revise them from time to time & then Start Practical.

Growth in earnings per share was too much for my story-telling brain to stomach.
Betas are simple: think of them as the S&P 500 +/- the risk of the equity you are regressing against it. @@JASHVEER22

As I am in the process of being economic emperor, ASWATH sir, I would be humbly grateful to your way of teaching which is in pure harmony of outwitting knowledge, making it a perfect blend of knowledge with practicality and to be able to attend your class even after sitting a thousand miles far away from you. Honouring you!!

Due to the story being so important in valuation, if you want excessive returns, you basically need to see the future.

Yes, I think so. Here, Aswath talks about all the sessions he's going to take. Seems like he'll keep on posting the videos in this playlist as and when he takes them

    Science Vs Maths
Science: A theory is assumed to be true if there is enough evidence to prove it beyond all reasonable doubt. In science if something is undoubtedly true, then it is likely to be proved false the next day, week, year or decade.
    But maths
Mathematical proof is absolute and devoid of doubt, mathematics does not rely on evidence from fallible experimentation but it is built on infallible logic.
