Mr. Cook. You are a real inspiration. I was a chorister at St Edmundbury 25 years ago under Mervyn Cousins and I recently played the organ myself in the cathedral with the lovely James Thomas. Your improvisation reduced me to tears and is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. The best Christmas present I could have ever hoped to receive. Thank you thank you.
Bravo Richard Cook for a wonderful tour, demonstration and spellbinding improvisation!! And goodness - Bravo Richard McVeigh on astonishingly immersive audio capture. Stunning video. And maddening attention to detail with the on screen registration!!! Unsurpassed!!!!! Bravo!!!
Excellent collaboration Richard and Richard, the demonstration was really clear, especially with the stops in use being shown, really appreciate your hard work and talent for improvisation. Another inspiring high quality BIS production.
So great to hear a demonstration going through all the stops. There are so many recordings of organs but not many solo and combination demos. Thank you for a wonderful video showing all the colours. We need one of these for every cathedral organ in the UK! I rather naughtily used the Tuba with super and sub octave couplers when I was there quickly :)

I love this organ!
Wonderful organ! I really liked the improvisation with the crescendo at the end.

Great job!
Love this! Keep up the good work!!!
Very interesting. Thanks for the video.
The majority of the flue stops demonstrated use slightly revoiced pipes from the previous instrument. All but two of the reed stops/ranks are new.
"... a rather fabulous vox humana." Maybe it's just me. Never mind that. Great video. Love it.
Very nice, though I did miss having a demonstration of the Pedal...
Très français! Bravo!
