In the very first episode of the show, Powder saw a blimp and said "One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things." I strongly believe she's still alive. That last shot is there for a reason.
and it's a good belief to have. The writers did well to give the audience hope, especially after seeing the reactions online (holy, you would think some fans would fly to Fortiche and burn down their building without all the threads the writer left behind).
@@gilney.mathias yeah, look at Jinx's death scene at 0.25 speed, you can see a flash of shimmer into one of the ventilation shafts, that later Caitlyn realizes she escaped through
What makes jayce and Viktor's relationship sadder is that they are no alternate timelines where both of them are happy without meeting each other. If they never met, Viktor could die from his illness, and jayce could never create hextech. Their 'happiest' timeline is the one where Viktor almost ends humanity and they both sacrifice themselves to save it.
Not only Jayce wouldn't create Hextech, he'd probably end up killing himself like he was going to before Viktor interrupted him. So one way or another, both of them end up dead, but in this timeline they at least have each other in their "afterlife" or whatever it was they went to. Sad and hopeful at the same time.
@@alexie5201 So basically the theory is that Jayce didn't go to the 'nice' timeline shown in Ep 7 like Heimer and Ekko, because in that timeline after Vi didn't make it out of the lab, Viktor doesn't come forward to help Jayce therefore no one stops Jayce at his balcony and Jayce has no physical body to inhabit in that timeline.
...It's still ambiguous to me: maybe by "killing" Viktor he caused the start of events leading to Viktor causing the end of the world. There is still doubt in my mind that Viktor would whatever happened have causes the arcane end of the world. He wanted to save the humanity in Vander rather than progress his cause by allying with singe and Ambessa, and risked losing everything. It's only after he "dies" that he loses his humanity (represented by Sky's death) for me, and then the end of the world becomes inevitable. So Jayce still has some responsibility in these events (that and inventing hextech and starting it all if course), even if he redeems himself at the end with his sacrifice.
this is amazing circle of time paradox, like recurring actions and foreshadowing. interstellar, dark, AOT, all big shows with great cinema performance did it. and Arcane its the same. AMAZING. A M A Z I N G
@@leovk5779Not really since Viktor stop Jayce from jumping off to his death. Viktor is the gear that starts the cycle. Remember Jayce only had the raw version of runes and it only works when Viktor helps him out. That's why we have that scene in the end where he keeps giving those different runes to a kid and he said only Jayce can stop or makes him see the future.
Congratulations Michael! Also, Ekko is the GOAT, giving up the universe of his dreams so he could save everyone. He certainly lived up to his title of "The Boy Savior."
I find it weird that the writers spent energy to give some of the women their "happiness" but none of the men. Quite the contrary, practically all sacrifice was made by men. Just leaves a stale taste tbh. They started so positively and just reverted to tired old tropes to conclude things. Very disappointed in the direction of the finale.
Took me a while to notice, but Ekko's mourning at the same spot he had his first kiss with Powder. Same shot of the view of the city from his back. Stings man. "The Boy Saviour," indeed. Probably hurts him Jinx called him that, he lived up to it, yet he still couldn't save her.
The boy savior title rlly fits, save everyone but give up everything you’ve ever dreamed of and love in the process , biggest tearjerker scene of the show for me
Yes. Also I think it's the same place Vi and Powder have a heart-to-heart conversation at the end of episode 1 season 1. That's where it starts and ends for these characters.
Yeah. I love when powers seemingly made to protect other are used in an offensive way. There is so many cool ways you can use magical shields when you can put them on whoever and whenever you want.
I noticed not a lot of people picked up on this but the woman Vi tries to save is the same woman Mylo tries to get a date with in the happy dimension. She also appears in the jail scene and I believe is the first to show Jinx appreciation for the rescue.
She lived! Silko said the only way to break the cycle is for her to walk away. She chose to make everyone think she was dead so that she could break the cycle. If Vi knew she survived she would have done everything to find Jinx, continuing the cycle. You can see a purple line before the explosion due to Jinx's shimmer zoom out of the blast, Cait looking at the hex gate blueprints focusing on the vents, and the airship at the end, referring to Powder's dream of riding one of them in the first episode.
Right now it's Fortiche's Schrodinger's Arcane basically. We can speculate, we can connect, but until Fortiche really confirms anything, it can go either way. Both can be acceptable. In death Jinx has redeem herself by paying for her crimes. In life if she really is in the blimp, she has the chance to atone in some other way.
Do other people agree that they some how made VI weaker and weaker... ??? she gets beaten by almost everybody now. Even Cait throws her over her shoulder, despite VI has trained hand to hand combat all her life, BUT now average soldiers hit her and pin her down to the ground , get hits in to her face and body . Really absurd
@@anitaremenarova6662 they are actually right now that I think about it more. If Jinx did live, she really couldn't stay because of Caitlyn. She would still need to face the consequences or her action because Caitlyn can't be commanding the law and order if she spared Jinx. Remember, it's not only her mom died, there are 2 other council members who died. If Jinx goes to jail again Vi will again try to save her sister. Jinx already knew this which is why she said in Episode 8 that Vi should be with Caitlyn and be happy.
Maddie is the one that sabbotaged the bomb and put a nail inside the timer, if you look closer you can see that she was the one carrying it before fish boy
@@teffhk She was put on the frontline security team despite only being a junior officer, Salo said they were keeping an eye on Cait somehow and she was also the first one from piltover to pound her chest when Ambessa wanted her to be commander.
kinda crazy that you thought that just because the person vi was carrying wasn't someone close to her, it was a "wrong person" to save or that she was using them as a meat shield lol. them being from the same place and comrades in that war aside, they are all still people deserving of life and capable of empathy
Yeah like Vi is probably one of the most morally good persons in the show ,she had every reason to end like Jinx or even worse but still she was always looking out for others ,I don't know why they thought that Vi would not care about someone else
Right bc, they totally thought that this person deserved to die. Kinda crazy how you wrote that whole comment. You all just take the little things that people say and run with it
@@foamytomato9342 I mean i'm saying in the least negative way possible, i LOVE this channel, but idk why for this episode they missinterpreted so much stuff it's actually funny, and i mean it, it was a really good and entertaining watch! It doesn't matter, it's almost added value and made the video more entertaining, they were probably overwhelmed by all the stuff happening + watching everything back to back
@@chihaotran1568 yeah but it's not explained at all or hinted at in the show itself .. so the only way to know that is to know league of legends lore which is why for the show itself yes his death IS ambiguous
I was so desolated at first I had almost completely missed the hints Jinx was still alive until I saw someone listing them all, there's a purple shimmer trail going towards the vents before the explosion, the same vents Cait was analyzing with the monkey head in hands, not to mention the blimp in the end being exactly the same she said she'd ride in S1E01 just before we see her scribbles and her theme song. She broke the cycle just like Silco told her!
@@BrandonWestfall How thats no clear cut? That guy wasnt having ignorant condescending attitude, its clearly what happened, Viktor had the power to create another anomaly at will and dimensional/time travel Jayce, are you ragebaiting or sum?
Caitlyn knows Jinx is alive, and she's contemplating whether or not to tell her. the moment she does, Vi will go and look for Jinx, but for once it looks like Vi is happy and at peace.
Proof no. It's the possibility she is still alive;Riot and Fortiche might do something with it, or not, and leave it to us to imagine the outcome we want.
@AretaicGames They were not direct in saying Jayce and Viktor were gone. Infact there was an earlier interview where someone slipped and said they want to explore Viktor further. I think this is more of a dammage control comment to pull back potential spoilers. None of the champs will really ever be dead, superhero plot armor and all that.
I figured the blimp was to show that the hexgates were no longer in use, since before they would just teleport the blimps, but now they actually have to fly to the destinations.
@@andrewdies6168 I mean, that might make sense, if it wasn't the very last scene. Powder's very first line in season 1 was "One of those days, I'm going to fly one of those things". It makes poetic sense that the we end where we started. Plus the last 2 episodes were building up Jynx's arc as "the only way to end the cycle of violence is to walk a away". it kind of completes her story, realizing that she is the cause of pain around her, and despite always being terrified of being alone, finally getting the strength to overcome that and leave alone, is a pretty good character conclusion that I don't think the writers would have missed.
Ekko said to Heimer "It's not enough to give people what they need to survive, you have to give them what they need to live" and Heimer thanked him saying "Ever since I met you, I've truly lived"...

@@argentbrav0 she's on the blimp at the end. it has pink and blue on it if you look closely. she said in season 1 episode 1 that she wants to ride on one of those some day. and that's how the season ends. also why would they show that scene of cait holding the monkey and looking at the vents if they weren't trying to hint at something.
@@argentbrav0is it possible that you have not seen the huge amount of clues? in addition to the purple light a few moments before the explosion, Catelyn is seen looking at sections of the palace and lingers on the air ducts hinting at a smile, while she has a fragment of Jinx's device in her hand. The last scene is that of a hot airship that Powder in the first season had said she always wanted to drive
Jinx lived btw she escaped in the air ducts that is what Cait was looking at in the end of the episode and that was her on the blimp at the end. She walked away like Silco told her too.
Or ... Cait was just documenting what happened in the Kiramman archives like her ancestors did (that's what her monologue leading up to that visual suggests) then smiled because Vi was humming. Concerning the supposed "shimmer trail" being Jinx's escape: watch the beginning of episode 9 where Jinx tries to end it over and over with the same monkey bomb. If you can't see the purple lights, pause it at 1:45 or 1:56 of that episode. Her monkey bomb is a combination of Chemtech, Hextech and Shimmer ... (they clearly show that at the beginning of the scene)
@@_MicZ_ The evidence is pretty strong that she's alive. - there is exactly ONE perfectly straight purple beam at the beginning of the explosion - Cait looking at a Jinx grenade while the show highlights the ventilation system - in E1S1 Powder sees a ship exactly like that at the end of S2E9 and says something like "Someday I'll ride one of these" - Jinx mentioning that Vi would never give up on her, implying that Vi will never get the chance to heal as long as Jinx is in her live, Vi will always chase Jinx to "save" her but Jinx doesn't think there is something worth saving - Silco talking about walking away to break the cycle also fits perfectly here, Jinx fakes her death to give everybody else the chance to close the chapter while giving herself the chance of finding herself without anybody in her life - Ekko talking Jinx out of suicide, reasoning that there is always a future worth fighting for, someone worth fighting for It simply makes perfect sense for everybody involved, Jinx included. Even the conversation between Vi and Cait at the end, Cait seems to hesitate asking VI if she's still in the fight, possibly contemplating if she should tell Vi what she found.
45:26 Vander had “prime shimmer” and “prime hextech” in him and it cured death as the doctor said, and that’s the same reason why his daughter came back even after Viktor is gone.
Act 3 of season 2 of Arcane is awesome and sad at the same time. It's sad that there are going to be no more seasons after this. I'm going to miss this show🔥💯
Well, they are making new series about other parts of this world and I am sure these characters will return in the future. League of Legends has one of the deepest and more rich lore and myths in recent gaming history.
@@evanskan6326 The Noxus story line is teased throughout the second season. At the end we see Swain's raven. Part of the story will probably be that Swain allies himself with Mel against the Black Rose. We also have the war in Ionia, where Singed plays a role. Jhin was also introduced, who also plays a role in the Noxus-Ionia war. And Darius and Draven will certainly also become important for the story, as brothers similar to Vi and Powder as sisters. Vi, Caitlyn, Jinx, etc. will probably only have guest appearances due to Mel's connections to Piltover.
It is interesting for me to see comments like this. I feel like season 2 act 3 was the worst writing done in television history. Even worse than season 8 of game of thrones. I felt like nothing was explained about the Arcane and the anomaly, can you really tell me what it is and what it wants? Jinx locks Vi in the cell and is ready to go kill herself, all while noxus and Victor is about to end the whole world for some reason. And then just one minute later Vi and Cait is banging it out xD. And all the drama between them is just gone with one line from Vi, “I don’t care”. Just like the writers didn’t care lol. Ambessa that is supposed to be a smart strategic general somehow doesn’t see the danger with Victor? And she is all about family and still fight with her daughter to death???? The black rose, what is the black rose and why should I care? They don’t explain anything. Aaaaand somehow the story line, the whole central point of the WHOLE show, the conflict between Piltover and Zaun gets resolved within 2 seconds by a speech by Jayce about they having to get together to save the world xD??? It is so cringe and lazy writing… I can’t. I honestly cried of sadness after watching the end of season 2. It was soooki bad. Please tell me. What was even remotely good about the season ending??? I need to know😭 Is it that other people just really like the action and the art stile and doesn’t care about characters and the plot as much as me or what is going on?? You don’t see any of the problems that I listed?😭
@@alexandertjorna3719Eh I still very much enjoyed and was locked in for the ride. While I’m still curious about the mystery of the Black Rose, I do believe they’ll focus on them in another show since they already announced more LoL shows are coming so I’m not pressed about it. The other things you listed weren’t enough to take me out the show and make me think it was worse than GoT’s actual horrible ending. Feel like you’re just taking these things to heart too much and focused too hard on these aspects, ruining the experience for yourself. Sorry you couldn’t enjoy it but for being a rushed ending, it was definitely better than other Netflix shows that rushed their endings this year. Cough cough Umbrella academy
@@BadassLoLo1113thank you for your point of view. I suppose all the problems I mentioned feel much worse for me because I am a huge LoL lore fan. And Arcane is LoL new canon lore. And they introduced so much new things with the Arcane, the anomoly, Victor Jesus, change of hextech, the conflict between Piltover and Zaun and so on that absolutely ruins so much other lore that already exists. I am morning the fantastic lore of league of legends that was killed by the writers of Arcane. And then that they according to me made a much worse story with bad writing and all the problems I mentioned make me just wanna cry.
I think ,Jinx isn't dead ,just faked it ( similiar to how Batman did in the end of the dark knight rises & Batman Arkham Knight Video Game). Don't underestimate her shimmer powers & that hextech orb she took from Vi's gauntlet. Plus the glitchy THE END credits' text /font style is similiar to her Graffiti. She may have done What ghost/vision of Zilco told her to do in epi.08 : walk away to end the cycle between her & Vi. And that maybe what her intention was walked away from the city which is lot easier to do when the world thinks she's dead. She has a good reason for that ,which is searching for new hope since there's nothing left for her in piltover & undercity. But I don't wanna get Y'all' hopes up too much ,since this is just a theory. We just have to wait until Riot Games fullfill the promise on spin offs in time.
I think Viktor was trying every possibility of Jayce being able to discover Hextech and become friends with him and not destroy humanity. The successful timeline we saw was Jinx stealing the crystals, so Jayce got blown up (or kicked out) and Viktor died of his illness. They never become friends and partners. And I think Warwick was special because he had the animal parts. Episode 8 we saw Vanders memories destroyed, but Im sure theres still some beastly part still in there that Viktor didnt completely turn into just a robot like the others.
I really think the show need another one more episode to flesh out black rose a bit, Jayce/Viktor storyline and Ekko storyline before the finale. It’s pretty good what they were able to achieve but I think the finale felt rushed if they just had done a bit more like 20minutes of explanation for black rose before this ep and some other stuff it would have been 10/10! Congratulations Michael!
Or just add five minutes more to each episode to flesh out some of the scenes and make them feel less scattered. Ultimately it was 8.4/10 compared to 9.0/10 in S1. And the animation is the crowning achievement of most Western cartoons
Pretty sure the Black Rose is meant to be mysterious and not perfectly explained. It's also not needed, the whole conflict between Ambessa and the Black Rose has just enough content to work, without overdoing it or spoiling anything. Pretty obvious we will get Mel vs The Black Rose (Leblanc) in future shows.
yeah, the creator just admitted that the finale has been cut to half length as a compromise to the investment. but they have been working on the new series(maybe not in the arcane way) will focus on Noxus, that's why there are so many things not clear here, like the Raven, black rose, ambessa past.
I don't think so. We don't know what name he (EDIT: Ekko) wrote at the end on that paper. It may be Jinx or Powder. I personally think it was Powder's name. And that ending was suspiciously Jinxed with touches of Powder in it with the flying ship. My guess is she is going traveling to find her new start. And she will probably meet the demon Raum at some point. Otherwise why bother having so many Crows around her? Especially the last one that is clearly Raum.
Btw the rune rune that jayce has is a teleportation or speed rune, the rune they impliment onto hexgates, thats the rune they use in the end with the symbol to get away, hence why they kinda vanish, but havent really died
So in total… Felicia and Connel, the hairless cat, Greyson, Benzo, Claggor, Mylo, Deckard, Vander, six officers + pink haired girl + whoever else Jinx killed, Sky, Marcus, Silco, Hanskol, Bosko, Cassandra, Amara + Ionian girl + goat guy + whoever else Ambessa killed, all chembarons, Kino, Elora, everyone in Stillwater prison during Warwick’s attack, Isha, Huck, Salo, and all of Viktor’s victims, Rictus, Gert (jinx fan), Loris, Maddie, Ambessa, and countless others are all confirmed dead. Heimerdinger, Viktor and Jayce, are possibly alive in a time loop. Singed is still alive! And he resurrected Orianna! La Blanc might be alive. Jinx is also possibly alive, escaping down an air shaft. Vi and Cait can finally be free and happy. Caitlyn’s dad can move on. Sevika is on the counsel. Mel is going back to Noxus. Ekko is probably looking after the tree. Gustov “the scowler” might never get a new jaw in this lifetime. Lest is hopefully safe, along with Babette. Piano guy hopefully doesn’t become so traumatized he becomes Jin. Steb can help his uncle Jericho go back to his food business. And Swain’s raven can get shot in the head by Jinx and we never hear about Swain again. The end!
so about the timeline where jayce ended up is where ekko decided not to go back in time to save his universe and that was the reason why viktor took his time to see jayces memories he was baffled from having two hexcores in one universe and the future viktor knew this so he put jayce back on a timeline where ekko went back ( ie. that's why when viktor first held jayce he never tried to read his memories cause he thinks he knew everything) Edit : basically the Big intersection of this series was when heimerdinger went out of the upgraded z drive cause he knew it can't carry two people so it's either he stays in the body of that ekko or he grabs his old body and goes back he probably realized this when heimerdinger vanished Edit to edit vander came to life cause he is basically the complete life form he can regenerate beyond death but now he has no memories he is basically a new born child with wolf tendencies and when he woke up he was in a lot of pain.
before meeting Viktor, Vander as a monster is already a mindless killing machine, it is Viktor who help to separate Vander from the Warwick and when Viktor fully commit to his course, Vander memory got erased so that quite make sense to me how he turn full monster after Viktor's gone
I like how Achara has a mature mindset and the way she sees things and then in contrast Jaby has a kiddish/fanboy mentality. I enjoy their chemistry...you guys are awesome! :)

Imo, Jinx survived and chose to leave the source of her cycle of trauma. There's too much evidence, the streak of her shimmer flash just before Warwick(Vander) is blown up. During Caitlin's inspection of the Hexgates ventilation she smirks and in the midst of narration 'Our story is not over' the remnants of the monkey grenade is highlighted. In front of the fire she's conflicted when asking Vi if she's still in the fight, since she doesn't know whether or not it's best to inform her of what she knows. And there's influential scenes with Jinx where she listens even after stating they're too late. To Silco, while in the cell: 'I think the cycle only ends when one finds the will to walk away.' The known and unknown conversations between her and Ekko. 'No matter what happened in the past it's never too late to build something new.... Sometimes to make a leap forward you have to leave a few things behind.' Solidified with the final shot, being of a blimp Jinx imagined one day flying away on from the very beginning.
and the vanders dream where vi and powder are sleeping is clear indicaton of last moment of him being back in control to either shield or throw powder to safety. Warvick/vander was even crying when they were falling
the fact that Ekko burns the paper at the funeral in the same place where he kisses Powder in the parallel universe, breaks my heart when I realized that
They've already said that they are going to do other shows. A streamer, Necrit, interviewed one of the co-creators of the show, and I believe they said they're already about a year into development on the next show. They even said which regions of Runeterra they are planning to focus on next.
If you're wondering what Cait is looking while holding a fragment of Jinx's bomb. She's zooming the location where it is found, a passage that leads out in the open. Before the bomb exploded you can see the trace of a shimmer where Jinx rushed to escaped. Vi and Cait knew Jinx is alive because we didn't saw her burn a piece of paper for every casualty of the war. In the first season Jinx mention about riding a Blimp someday and the ending has some Jinx vibe in it. ❤
Is no one gonna talk about how Singed won it all? Man was one of the primary instigators of the story: He created Shimmer, created Warwick, was responsible for producing super soldiers for Ambessa and mentoring Viktor. And yet he not only walks away unpunished, he even managed to get his daughter back. To me that kinda undercuts alit of the cautionary tale that Arcane says it is.
In the lore, Singed still has a few more atrocities left on his checklist, so it makes sense if Riot wants to follow up with another show. But even sticking just to Arcane, I think it works very well. Singed never lied to or betrayed anyone. After parting ways with Heimerdinger (presumably without backstabbing the guy, unlike Jayce), he honestly offered his services to people who wanted it, delivered on all his promises, and just went home to work on his side projects and read books to his dead daughter. Did he facilitate most of the tragedies in the entire show? Yes, and he did it out of sheer commitment to a colossal task, toiling in the background with no illusions about himself, and no delusions about his goals. Among the antagonists, it wasn't Silco’s violent revolution, the Chembarons' insatiable greed, Cait's grief-driven authoritarianism, Ambessa’s unbridled ambition, or Viktor's immense power that succeeded. It was Singed's "patience is a product of age, both of which I possess in abundance”.
Do other people agree that they some how made VI weaker and weaker... ??? she gets beaten by almost everybody now. Yep 😂 Funny to see so many reaction channels call them brothers, I don't even rlly care about the ship, but even I thought that scene was gay as hell lmao
In S01E01 around 05:22, Powder says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those things", as a blimp passes overhead paralleling how the show ends with the same shot. We also see a shimmer streak moving away towards the top right of the screen just before the explosion goes off, suggesting Jinx cheated death so Vi would move on and she wants to walk away to end the cycle like Silco says in S02E08 - 21:30, as we also see Cait is looking at the blueprint of the vents while holding her monkey bomb fragment, indicating the same.
The blue haired girl was the one mylo had a crush on in the other universe that joins the war in this one. Wasn't the "wrong person" lol Vi prob knew her since she was from the same city.
I’m pretty sure that the woman the dies after Vi tries to save her (the one that also decides to join the cause) is the same woman that Powder tries to help Mylo chat up at the bar, in episode 7
28:09 That quick glance at the cooling ducts is right about where Jinx and Vander "exploded". There's a chance that Jinx may have shimmered towards that area and survive. But we'll never know because there's no 3rd season of Arcane.
I feel Arcane Season Two was Fortiche taking the opportunity to produce a demonstrator to show off the different visual styles they can produce and deliver; as a way to promote the studio for future (licensed) projects. Much of their history revolves around League of Legends and I imagine they want to be able to expand beyond it so that they aren't completely reliant on Riot / LoL. Likewise, the two season endpoint was an external (rather than narratively driven) decision; perhaps either by Riot (e.g. due to the cost of the show) or Fortiche (e.g. wanting to explore / move onto new projects).
Seeing Vi zone out and cry over Vander’s body… Jinx finally gets how much pain Vi was in. “You can’t save him.” And Vi still doesn’t respond. And then we get the shot of Vander’s bleeding head from Vi’s perspective that night! We, the audience were on the left, but now we see from Vi’s POV on the right. Jinx finally understands how Vi is not as invincible as she thought. She knows now Vi didn’t consciously choose to slap her that night, she was mentally overwhelmed with the pain of losing Vander. That reframing of the events that night is just gorgeous!
3 arcs with 3 episodes over 3 season would have been perfect. I still think it's a great show overall but one more season to let some of the stories play out and develop a little bit more would have elevated the show from just great to excellent.
Agree. Season 2 should've focused almost entirely on the Piltover/Zaun (and Vi/Jinx) conflict, and Season 3 should've been reserved for the Glorious Evolution (and Jayce/Viktor) stuff - with the Black Rose side plot possibly sprinkled in throughout both seasons.
I agree to an extent. I just can't shake the feeling that another season would've unintentionally added some fluff that would've made some viewers tired of the show. I felt like a movie after the 2nd season would be better. Could be wrong though.
34:00 I belive so too. Jayce had the runestone with him that looked suspiciously like the time rune that ekko had circled out in that other dimension. So Ekko and Heimerdinger who did not have that "protection" were sent to a completely different timeline as mentioned by Heimerdinger, while Jayce got anchored in the same timeline but got displaced in time whatever amount of years forward. EDIT: Question is.....how many other timelines got destroyed by Viktor's pursuit to find that one solution? At least we know there are other outcomes that are "happy" to some degree. After all, the world ending Void is still a major thing after all. Let's just hope that other Powder manages to somehow developed Hextech with a much safer outcome. Otherwise poetically I wonder if Ekko ended up burning Powder's name not for his version but the other timeline.
Regarding happy outcomes... my interpretation is that even the "happy" timeline we saw is doomed because alternate-timline Ekko visited and introduced the concept of the anomaly to powder, who was constantly being pushed to live up to her potential as an inventor. That could explain why episode 7 closes with the shot of the gemstones in her drawer. In the "happy" timeline the explosion at Jayce's apartment still happens, so I think that means Viktor gave him the gemstone fragment and it was another timeline is ultimately doomed. The only timeline that "succeeds" is the one we watched play out through both seasons.
😂 one interesting thing is that when the explosion happens there is one frame when a purple light dashes out(we know that powder is shimmered up) and no you cannot find it by pausing. Also when Ekko burns the paper I'm pretty sure its Heimerdinger's as there is only one paper. Caitlyn is also looking at the escape route in the tunnels and smiled at that moment. And i know the last scene was purposefully there as in S1E1 powder says "I will ride one of those someday" and in the last scene we saw the air balloon and knowing the attention to detail and foreshadowing arcane does.
I dont think you understood the implication of the events of the alternate universe. Vi being dead while they were breaking into jayce's office means jayce never got into the academy and perhaps viktor never got to save jayce when he was about to finish himself. And ultimately viktor's diseases caught upro him and he died as well.
We can see Jinx leaving right before the explosion and we can see Cait looking at the ventilation system of the Hexgates holding a piece of the bomb (aka: if the bomb din't disintegrate there should have been a body) realising Jinx faked her own death and smiling. Being happy Jinx lives closed Caitlyn's character arch. And Jinx did that so she can free Vi, but she didn't commit suicide to BREAKE the cycle.
Her being happy about it is sheer stupid. Jinx killed her mother and made terror attacks. You would never be happy about a person escaping who killed ur parent.
I think what happened with Robo beast Vander was vander died and the beast lived but was under Victors control. When Victor and Jace left the beast was not being controlled anymore.
He’s been warwick since the beast was introduced, but he had ganders humanity inside, singed poisons that in act 2 that’s why everything turns to lava he overheated and burned all of vander inside him and fully became warwick, that’s why his face was more wolf like and now if he’s revived the 3rd time he’ll be entirely wolf
@@Sancho0211 the hive mind was clearly dead when victor left by all of the robots becoming lifeless. Vander truly died as depicted by his memories burning away as waricks blood was pumped into victor.
@@MorbidlyHilarious he died when he was poisoned by singed that’s why he’s crying and it’s all lava , singed said I know what can prohibit his success to ambessa, viktor was trying to save him and singed injected him killing vander literally burning his humanity out of him from the inside out
The three eyed raven is Swain's from Noxus, and the picture behind Cait and Vi in the last scene is of her great grand mother who was from Ionian descend, all these little clues foreshadow that we are going to get next series based on Noxus and their invasion of Ionia specially the battle of placidium (Ireila vs Swain)
Jericho Swain only meets Raum (the demon bird) on the battlefield at the Placidium, if he’s using the bird to do his bidding that means the Placidium already happened Raum could be doing this on his own but more likely he’s currently taking orders from the Black Rose (his previous “owners” before Jericho Swain was tempted by Raum to take a Faustian bargain specifically with visions of the cabal he currently works for, which J.S. thought were defeated long ago by him)
What some people miss is if you slow the second before the explosion with Jinx down a lot you see a purple spark jumping sideways away and after that Cait is checking the Ventelation Systems of the Hexgates which are going sideways down the tunnel.
Jinx is probably alive. There is no way in hell they just showed us Cait looking at the blueprint of the hextech vents in the last scene without any reason for it. Jinx isn't dead ever since she came out as a champion in league and now staring in her own show Riot will find a way to put her in another show.
The scene where Jinx dies is absolutely amazing. Heartbreaking but so amazing. Vi is grieving in the worst place possible, she calls out Vanders name while he's attacking her because she simply refuses that he's changed. than while Jinx is begining to sacrifice herself Vi dosent HAVE to say a word, you can see a million words vibrating through her eye, begging Jinx not to but also realizing what Jinx is about to do. Than in the next scene we see Vi she's humming the same song that Jinx use to sing about their mother. There were lots of hate going around that it's out of Vi's character and I think it's poetic, because it IS outside of Vi's character to sing but she's doing it out of grief to reminisce Jinx and her family. She's not singing, she's grieving in a healthy way finally
caitltn was looking at the map w jynx bomb bcuz she knows she escaped and lived after searching for her remains. the airship flying to the horizon at the end was infact jynx.
I think Arcane is one of the best TV series ever. Even though I am not fully satisfied with the finale myself, the series as a whole is still masterpiece of animation, storytelling, music & characters. 💙
Just a note for you. The 3 eyed raven at the end belongs to a Champion called Jericho Swain. He is currently part of the leadership of Noxus, where Mel and Ambessa originate from. Hes actually been around throughout the entirety of the 2 seasons as what his raven sees he sees and there were ravens popping up all throughout this series. If you read the lore of Noxus its currently being led by the Trifarix, 3 leaders who symbolize the principles Ambessa was teaching Caitlin during her training. Mel is on her way back to Noxus as the 4th principle i.e 4th leader which could lead to division/war in the kingdom itself. So yes they have something in the works which is huge as you have the lore of Noxus, Demacia, and Ionia to explore with Noxus being at this core. So Arcane is no more but something more Revenant is on the way.
❌ Jericho Swain is the man. ✅Raum is the demonic bird. As far as we know RAUM is picking up the hextech crystal, whether or not it’s because Swain told him to isn’t confirmed.
@ good point ! Still feels like there should have been a better compromise. Shutting the gates long before the point of having to fight for every second. Love the show though. Absolute masterpiece.
@@ddosan4108The entrance of Viktor make it clear that Jayce action of shutdown the Gate is meaningless. The time paradox has make it clear, as Jayce said at the table: we are mean to lose the war.

"It's not a blimp,"
- Caitlyn
Also Cait watching the Hexgates layout at the end and focusing on the ventilation ducts
and it's a good belief to have.

Happiest timeline was Vi dead. Is VI the real villain of the series?
@@Falloutman216 Yeah, I saw that theory. It's very possible.
No. Jayce wouldn’t even reach adulthood. He would die in the snow as a child with his mother without Viktor’s help.
Its so funny how everyone was hating on jayce and all jayce was doing was LISTENING TO FUTURE VIKTOR 😂
😂😂
...It's still ambiguous to me: maybe by "killing" Viktor he caused the start of events leading to Viktor causing the end of the world.

Very disappointed in the direction of the finale.
Funny how Caitlyn missing an eye and Vi putting her glove away is the mirror image of Silco and Vander but with the relationship reverse.

@@cardona9448what?
Yep, and Cait was looking at part of the monkey bomb debris and plans of the tower where she saw a ventilation shaft where Jinx could have escaped.
Yeah, they should seperate, they cant live with each other even in other timeline where vi is the one gone lol
@Cameron-fk5fk oh ,dang! I didn't catch that. Good eye ,bud. So that's how she made way to the airship. Nice, thanks for mentioning that.👍
Congratulations Michael 😍
I think Viktor was trying every possibility of Jayce being able to discover Hextech and become friends with him and not destroy humanity. The successful timeline we saw was Jinx stealing the crystals, so Jayce got blown up (or kicked out) and Viktor died of his illness. They never become friends and partners. And I think Warwick was special because he had the animal parts. Episode 8 we saw Vanders memories destroyed, but Im sure theres still some beastly part still in there that Viktor didnt completely turn into just a robot like the others.
I like that jinx laid down cover smoke for the approaching zanuite forces.
Yeah, even a longer episode, which wouldn't be a problem at all for the netflix format
Yeah there could’ve easily had been a third season, at the very least a fourth Act. Idk I just want more lol
yeah, the creator just admitted that the finale has been cut to half length as a compromise to the investment. but they have been working on the new series(maybe not in the arcane way) will focus on Noxus, that's why there are so many things not clear here, like the Raven, black rose, ambessa past.
“Brothers” LMAOOO
Ekko lost Powder to save Jinx but lost them both in the end

The end!

so about the timeline where jayce ended up is where ekko decided not to go back in time to save his universe and that was the reason why viktor took his time to see jayces memories he was baffled from having two hexcores in one universe and the future viktor knew this so he put jayce back on a timeline where ekko went back ( ie. that's why when viktor first held jayce he never tried to read his memories cause he thinks he knew everything)
Edit : basically the Big intersection of this series was when heimerdinger went out of the upgraded z drive cause he knew it can't carry two people so it's either he stays in the body of that ekko or he grabs his old body and goes back he probably realized this when heimerdinger vanished
Edit to edit vander came to life cause he is basically the complete life form he can regenerate beyond death but now he has no memories he is basically a new born child with wolf tendencies and when he woke up he was in a lot of pain.
before meeting Viktor, Vander as a monster is already a mindless killing machine, it is Viktor who help to separate Vander from the Warwick
and when Viktor fully commit to his course, Vander memory got erased so that quite make sense to me how he turn full monster after Viktor's gone

Warvick/vander was even crying when they were falling
the fact that Ekko burns the paper at the funeral in the same place where he kisses Powder in the parallel universe, breaks my heart when I realized that
"brothers" and it's the gayest 'we're soulmates in every universe' storyline on earth lmaooooo
Love the discussion as always and wouldn't mind Michael's POV even if it is 6 months or a year down the line.
Congrats Michael on the new baby. Wishing you and your family the best and thank you for the reactions to this great series.
I think that's very much in line with Singed's story. No matter how hard you try to fight what you believe in, the asshole always gets away with it.
Historians will call them brothers
Right😭? Whatever they have I'd never call it brotherhood but sure
@jxtnoe yes 😭 they’re soulmates in every universe. How can you watch their scenes and be like omg brothers 💀
Yep 😂 Funny to see so many reaction channels call them brothers, I don't even rlly care about the ship, but even I thought that scene was gay as hell lmao
tbh I don't care if their feeling for each other were platonic or romantic. It was very touching and beautiful either way.
Ekko and Mel are MVP's of the Finals
In S01E01 around 05:22, Powder says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those things", as a blimp passes overhead paralleling how the show ends with the same shot. We also see a shimmer streak moving away towards the top right of the screen just before the explosion goes off, suggesting Jinx cheated death so Vi would move on and she wants to walk away to end the cycle like Silco says in S02E08 - 21:30, as we also see Cait is looking at the blueprint of the vents while holding her monkey bomb fragment, indicating the same.
5 mins ago was crazy
Awww, Congrats, Michael!
The blue haired girl was the one mylo had a crush on in the other universe that joins the war in this one. Wasn't the "wrong person" lol Vi prob knew her since she was from the same city.
Great reaction! Congrats Michael!
“How many people are going to die”
Arcane: “Yes”
I’m pretty sure that the woman the dies after Vi tries to save her (the one that also decides to join the cause) is the same woman that Powder tries to help Mylo chat up at the bar, in episode 7
we want more.. i dont care what Netflix says ❤😊
Baby Boose! Congratulations Michael!
I miss Michael already
21:56 "Because I love you" YOU re so real for that
Nooo should have hold off for Micheal 😢
Silco said "i think cycle only ends when find the will to walk away", so Jinx walked away she's not dead, there are many hints
No, Vander side was with Viktor, the beast is what make Warwick act after Viktor go away.
@ no that was the hive mind
Jericho Swain only meets Raum (the demon bird) on the battlefield at the Placidium, if he’s using the bird to do his bidding that means the Placidium already happened
Raum could be doing this on his own but more likely he’s currently taking orders from the Black Rose (his previous “owners” before Jericho Swain was tempted by Raum to take a Faustian bargain specifically with visions of the cabal he currently works for, which J.S. thought were defeated long ago by him)
How you guys came to the conclusion that Jayce caused the apocalypse is beyond me lmao
"That's how you know it is bad. When a girl cuts her hair" jinx meanwhile has literally just pulled the pin on a grenade. Yes, the hair...
