When President Kuffour was building the jubilee House, kwesi pratt did the same thing. Nana Addo wants to build a multipurpose cathedral, kwesi pratt kicked against it, he says he is hungry. When will kwesi pratt be satisfied and full, so Ghana sees development. Anything good for Ghana, kwesi pratt will kick against it. Aaaah a den.

Whatever transpired today on this talk segment is symptomatic of the disease we are faced with in Ghana. The state of untruthfulness within the body politic in Ghana. We do speak truth to issues and are collectively unworthy of truth. I'm amazed at Uncle Kwase Pratt..Yes he is in his twilight years.. But it does not give him an unwavering right to act in a condescending manner towards Miracles... Respect is reciprocal. What is the basis of his verbal attack on Miracles. He says Miracles is being disrespectful to him.. But by the same vain he is adamantly standing by his utterance.. That he recalls what he said.. Therefore, Miracles cannot place inference on the substance of his utterance. His utterance flows from his thoughts therefore.. He alone has the cardinal right to the very interpretation of his thoughts.. But Uncle Kwase is equally unwilling to accept that Miracles should have the cardinal right of his utterance as they flow from his thoughts. How can Uncle Kwase assert that... " I did not say that".. But by the same vain.. Miracles is not allowed to remind Uncle Kwase.. " I did not say that" When has truth been relative to age.. That is to say that by default all adults speak truth to an issue.. However, anyone relatively younger speaks untruth about same... Now that's our disease. We are not honest to ourselves and afraid to speak truth to issues. Look at where we are as a nation
I think that’s not the main point. Miracles had his time to talk and Kwesi listened though he was steaming cause he attacked Kwesi and some statements were blatantly false but Kwesi allowed him to flow. He expected the same level of decorum during his submission. Even if Miracles felt what Kwesi was saying is false, he could’ve allowed him to finish making that point coz Kwesi didn’t interrupt him when he had his turn. It’s in the interruption that distortion of thoughts can make one look and sound bad on air and then the discussion shifts to petty jabs because emotions take over. Kwesi is very experienced and understands that as well. So he’s very aware of the tricks at play and it’s clear Nana Yaw didn’t get it. We all know Kwesi is biased, we don’t need Miracles to tell us that. It’s also in our culture to respect our elders. You can speak truth to power but that’s not how it’s done!
