Even if changing the refresh rate to 60, 720p screen and default processing speed, it still drains really quickly.

Despite what people said regarding the original 8G1 processor, the majority of people had a great time with this device. The updates only made it better in my time with it. Could fairly easily get 7-8 hours screen time with it. Although Note 10 is still *usable* to this day and it still is the greatest phone Samsung ever made Imho, but the improvements of the current Gen from that too far a leap is too enticing.
I've been using this phone, i have a z flip5, and its honestly better than my 1 year old phone. I know the flip didn't have the best processor, but its crazy how well the s22 ultra handles games. If i play something like Genshin on my flip5, the phone continuously crashes. Not to mention the camera is still really good. Its better than my flip 5 and my iphone 13 pro.
Exactly I never even considered the s23 or 24 ultra this is truly a legendary flagship the s22 ultra I put it side by side with any of the phones out right now especially iPhone 16 pro Max this phone will destroy that phone on just about everything and I have the iPhone 15 Plus and I like my iPhone but when I put it next to my s22 ultra it almost looks like an amateur phone compared to this thing Samsung displays and when you get to use good lock and the theme engine like I feed my phone out now that it's spooky season where I can theme my phone all the way through to the icons to the settings pages to the entire phone the calling page you just can't do that stuff on iPhones and can't do it on all Android phones either they don't have a theme engine like Samsung does LG did but LG was my kingpin phone for a while but they went out under so now that LG's gone they're the only ones with a theme store like Samsung but s32 ultras going to be rocking for the next couple years

Mine is still holding up well. As you said, battery life is decent but I have the 45W chargers, so it recharges very quickly. Samsung has been as bad as Apple with the very slow rate of changes and innovations with their Galaxy S series phones. Apart from better battery life, there is no real improvements with the S23, S24 and now the upcoming S25 series. You know it's bad when Samsung themselves recently apologised for not being innovative enough with their flagship phones. And now that I received most of the newer AI features with a recent update, there's even less reason to upgrade to the upcoming S25 series. All I would be doing is paying for a very expensive new battery because that's the only real benefit. Samsung, when you finally offer real hardware improvements instead of all this AI fluff, I'll upgrade and not before. Before I got the S22 Ultra, I had the Note 9. It was a really good phone but there were real improvements that made it worth changing over to the S22 Ultra. A larger screen, higher refresh rate, much improved cameras with that excellent high zoom and 45W charging. All worthy changes. But now improvements have slowed to an Apple trickle. And dear Samsung. I don't give a stuff about being able to digitally insert a duck next to a glass of beer in a picture. Just saying. I'm not 8 yrs old.
It's so refreshing seeing a Samsung fan. Tell the truth and not a bunch of BS because they like the brand. I personally like iOS and Android. I do wish Samsung would bring us at least a 1-inch sensor for the camera.. Bigger batteries. Thanks for the honest comment!
Wouldn't s23 ultra be better? Its way more efficient and everything on the s23ultra is just better, And with the price drop when the s25 series comes out.
Hahaha I'm still using my s20 Ultra . Apart from a new screen, battery and usb port that all I've had to spend on it after 4 years and it still works perfectly fine.
@Josh_Quinonez yes absolutely. I am going to Japan next year so I'm holding out to see if the S25 is much better than the s24 if not I will go the S24 because of the AI features especially for live translation.
I got my phone, 1Tb unlocked S22 Ultra, directly from Samsung at launch (with all the freebies) and I use it 24/7 and with all the updates, I have absolutely no reason to get a new phone. I have a full phone wrap and keep a good case on it and make sure I have a firm grip on it, and tbh, maybe dropped it less than 12 times since I've had it. I don't want another phone, and I used to be one of those people who would get the first new thing out on the market, but nothing is coming out that is worth spending as much as I paid for this one, and no newer models are coming out with 1tb, which is my personal preference, so I can definitely wait till there's a huge development.

Still got this device and loving it 💚 As you say, it gets the job done. My only gripe, as you point out, is the battery life. I find it can vary between software updates. Overall, it's an outstanding flagship device 👊
I have a S22 ultra for the last 1 year, and i think it will last me for the next 3 years atleast, after which i night consider buying an s25 or s26 ultra
I've just brought this phone after watching a load of videos saying it's still a really good phone. I just refuse to spend £1200 plus on a phone which is only marginally better than the older phone. And the best part, I only paid £300 for it.
You literally stole that phone for that price. Congrats, it's a damn good device. I thought I got a killer deal on a s22+ for $280 damn near brand new it hadn't been updated even once from its OG launch software. I have & love the s22U i just always wanted the pink 💗 one 😂
@katinasoutherland7693 Sure if you want a heater for your hands then it's a fantastic buy 😂 your better of paying alittle more and just get a s23 ultra they fixed the issues from the s22 ultra with the s23 ultra and the software is supported longer on the s23 as well
Me with s21 5g (exynos 2100 version) still happy with the peak performance . But what bothers me is the heating and throttling (inconsistent performance) which Further results in bad battery backup and jitters and lag occasionally when heating
This is one of the phones that I liked the most. A friend really wanted it so I sold him mine last year for his birthday at a very low price. But if I have the chance I will probably buy another one. I don't really like the S24 Ultra and am currently using an S23 Ultra. Since the S25 Ultra doesn't excite me...
It has been a great experience for me, but I've mistreated the battery, so it's only lasting me 4 hours now. I'm not sure if I should replace the battery and wait another year or see if the S25 Ultra will be as big an upgrade as rumored 😅
I had one and loved it. Only reason i got my S23 Ultra was because of my 22s couldn't get a signal outside of wifi. Skipped the 24 because to me wasn't worth the upgrade.
well since ive got the 23 i can say that you might not be using your phone all that much if that performance difference in terms of stability and smoothness of a S23 Ultra then well its fine, i dotn even wanna touch a 22 Ultra anymore but this dosent make it a bad phone, more often then not you wont care how it does ^.^ good to see tests years after :)
I've been using it since the day it came out in 2022 and my girl has the s24 ultra and she would trade me right now she likes mine better I won't trade though because honestly in some ways this is better than the s24 ultra I think it looks more futuristic with the curve display I don't know you can zoom further and better there's just things this is one of the truly legendary flagships you can keep this phone till 2027 and it would still rock
I am still using the s20 ultra and only thinking of upgrading now. I have used that device intensively on a daily basis since day one My dilemma is whether to wait for the S25 ultra or get an S24 ultra with 25% off which means i could go for the 512 memory option. Do the UK variants of the S24 ultra come with snapdragon or the other chipset that i can't spell lol Thanks for any help
Just bought a refurbished s22 ultra to replace my a54 so I can give that one to my girlfriend. I know the performance difference between the two isn't very big but I really like the extra features from the s pen especially since I'm a graphic designer.
Got my s22 ultra since release. Unfortunately the Exynos version. Not gonna lie, it does sometimes stutter. Poor battery life. Im not really all too happy with it. Might run it 1 more year until the Pixel 10 drops.

Still got this device and loving it 💚 As you say, it gets the job done. My only gripe, as you point out, is the battery life. I find it can vary between software updates. Overall, it's an outstanding flagship device 👊
I loved mine but I traded it in for $625 for the pixel 9 pro XL.
That's not a bad deal at all 👍
I am watching this on my carrier S22, small and fast.
It's funny people are still talking about green lines its crazy
Really? On the S22 Ultra?
@Josh_Quinonez it happens frequently on s22ultra
@@Josh_Quinonez yeah sadly, mine just got the green line problem recently after my warranty ended for about a week. Weird.
I paid $425 aud. 500gb. Genuine parts repaired. sm-s908edrfats Not dropped, couple small scratches on screen.
Not really worth it when the S23 Ultra exists
Exactly. The s22 ultra isnt very efficient they fixed that issue with the s23 ultra
Wrong!! For the right price & the right person, it sure is a good buy, bro.
@katinasoutherland7693 Sure if you want a heater for your hands then it's a fantastic buy 😂 your better of paying alittle more and just get a s23 ultra they fixed the issues from the s22 ultra with the s23 ultra and the software is supported longer on the s23 as well
@@katinasoutherland7693 You couldn't be more wrong. The extra price gets you a phone that is longer supported, runs cooler, faster and longer.
yeah i went with the s23U too
It looks faster than my iphone15 pro max lol
I'm watching now on my S22Ultra from Burma (Myanmar )🤞
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
Me with s21 5g (exynos 2100 version) still happy with the peak performance . But what bothers me is the heating and throttling (inconsistent performance) which Further results in bad battery backup and jitters and lag occasionally when heating
with some optimzation tricks the battery is quite good and perfomance too
This is one of the phones that I liked the most. A friend really wanted it so I sold him mine last year for his birthday at a very low price. But if I have the chance I will probably buy another one. I don't really like the S24 Ultra and am currently using an S23 Ultra. Since the S25 Ultra doesn't excite me...
Bought mine new last year ......New new Dead stock ...and I love it
My S22 Ultra is still running the gambit.
I still have mine, and it runs fine. I still plan on grading to throw S25 ultra when it comes out
It has been a great experience for me, but I've mistreated the battery, so it's only lasting me 4 hours now.
I traded my 512gb unlocked S22 Ultra for the S24 Ultra 512gb unlocked at launched. Definitely happy I made the upgrade.
well since ive got the 23 i can say that you might not be using your phone all that much if that performance difference in terms of stability and smoothness of a S23 Ultra then well its fine, i dotn even wanna touch a 22 Ultra anymore but this dosent make it a bad phone, more often then not you wont care how it does ^.^ good to see tests years after :)
In Nov 2024 I still have the note 8, looking to replace it with the s22 ultra.
I have used that device intensively on a daily basis since day one
My dilemma is whether to wait for the S25 ultra or get an S24 ultra with 25% off which means i could go for the 512 memory option.
Do the UK variants of the S24 ultra come with snapdragon or the other chipset that i can't spell lol
Thanks for any help
How did your phone's back glass break so badly?
Watching with my note 9
I having using it since 2019
iPhone 14 will never get apple AI, lol that's why I switched
Watching on my s22 ultra
Nice!!
How's the battery screen on time
Hi..did u get any green line issue with ur s22u after u update it with the latest UI veriosn please reply...thanks
Nope. If I did I would have mentioned it
Just bought a refurbished s22 ultra to replace my a54 so I can give that one to my girlfriend.
Watching on my s22 ultra 😅
Awesome!
Still have my s22U too lol. Sad that the s24FE beats it already but I rather go on vacations longer instead of upgrading yearly. LOL
Still using galaxy s10 . Still doing video editing.
@@EhFishing awesome!
Phone is pure art, but the battery is bad and the camera has been downgraded by recent ONE UI updates.
I've had this phone since launch & i love it ❤ ima get a new battery for her. Can anyone tell me who Samsung recommends in the States? Thanks, bro.
I used it from the release till today. Just replaced it with a OnePlus 12 today
Nice upgrade!
I had to take my phone to a buddy of mine. I was using my phone when randomly my phone went to a black screen. So I’m getting it repaired
Al long as it's updated I've haven't had a problem probably going to get a zfold 6
Not at all impressive considering some people still use the S7 and S8 series
It's fine but the worst thing is the heat this thing just heats all time 😢
i am still using my s22 ultra for like 2 years now
I had the s24 ultra and I can say firsthand I used it for 2 weeks and I hated it and I returned it!
Watching on my s10. Lol
Nice!
I still have my s21 ultra, what it do lol
That phone is still so beautiful
This guy beats up good phones bad. Shattered S22 Ultra , S24 ultra getting repaired 😂.
🤣🤣 S24 Ultra is not my fault. It's an internal problem and will be fixed with warranty 👍
Haha I shattered my s21+ the same way .... and JUST upgraded it 2 weeks ago 😂
Oh nice!! Lol
Also, there is me with my note 20 utra...
Wich screen protection gals is batter
I still have my S21 Ultra
Noice! That was a beautiful phone! Loved the camera setup
Hahahahaha
I have the Note 9 as my secondary device
Also S8 Plus still working
So the Samsung with 7yrs of updates is real good - S24 series 👌🏻
I'll downgrade to binary 1 and root it, and then see the difference between launch and latest update.
I don't have the s22 ultra I just have the s22 but I still love the phone haven't felt a need to upgrade
i still used redmi note 4 8 years now
Nice!!
