good but doesnt explain his other abilities. imu might be the god of demon realm just like in dragon ball. the reason why he could make anyone like goroseis.
Oda has went WELL out of his way to show us how dragon is different from the rest of the Monkey D. family. The guy is tactical and will stay in the background for a while. We probably won’t get any action from the mf until the war officially kicks off or halfway through.
I believe "stabs" shanks twin is the reason for the special bounty on loki. I believe it was stabs who was talking to the elder stars and the pirate he talked to the about was loki. If not that then he was talking to them about shanks. But that's less fun imo
I think considering how the God Knights can enter Elbaph so easily, this tells me they visited before. My guess is that it was them that killed Harald 6 years ago and pinned the blame on Loki. Loki has been trying to prove his innocence, but he is disliked by the Giants, making it impossible.
Allow me to add some of my thoughts to strengthen your theory, there's a chance Shanks involved in this story for being Yonko 6 years ago because this "Elbaf Tragedy" (King Haralds death), i mean 6 years ago, maybe Loki fight Shanks at some point because he suspected that he killed his father instead his twin because Loki saw the wrong "Shanks" but doesn't know about God's Knight either... (most of people in OP world doesn't know the face of Gorosei & God's Knight)... So the battle between Loki & Shanks must be chaos, Loki eat the legendary DF to prevent "Shanks" try to steal the DF, Shanks thinks it's dangerous if Loki use that DF power on that time, but Shanks doesn't want to kill Loki instead locked him in Underworld because of misunderstanding & people of Elbaf called Shanks 'hero' to them.. then "Elbaf Tragedy" news spread around the world and WG make Shanks a Yonko
Vikings are known to eat psychedelic mushrooms before a raid or war. Maybe the tree is emitting this kind of spores that makes the giants go berserk and wants to fight.😊
And that could be why the king harold said he wanted to stop elbaf from being a warland, he mightve actually meant destroying the tree which gives them the will to fight (im very tired i mightve made some bad sentences but u get the point)
And that could be why the king harold said he wanted to stop elbaf from being a warland, he mightve actually meant destroying the tree which gives them the will to fight (im very tired i mightve made some bad sentences but u get the point)
It’s kinda interesting that in the tamate box at fishman Island the nation’s great treasure used to be those super drugs which basically allow one to go gear 5 for a moment in exchange for years of their lifespan. Maybe it’s a concentrated product of the effects of the sunlight tree eve and it’s somehow related to the age-siphoning effects you theorize the Adam Tree has.
The Tree is not toxic. Its the Treasure Tree Adam. If the tree was toxic, they wouldn't had bothered using that wood to build the Sunny or the Oro Jackson.
That’s such a random thing to say. You literally just said “my son is a chef, and his name is syv. He’s currently cooking a 5star meal”.. that caught me off guard
I can see both Shanks being there 6 years ago and the clone tries to replace the king with a puppet, Loki sees but can't save his dad in time, he just sees its Shanks. Seeing the WG move causes Shanks to become an emperor to protect elbaph. Loki tries to tell everyone but they don't believe him because Shanks has been good, Shanks says nothing because explaining everything would be too complicated, they wouldn't believe him.
This is a great theory. Perhaps the idea of the tree being toxic could be used as an analogy for pollution for the the sake of profit, much like the rising sea levels.
seeing the bandages on the one holy knight girl & seeing the bandages on loki's eyes to hide really makes sense may be that holy night girl will have power related to bandage because on the next chapter the giants were on knees tied by the bandages where the knights came (that same girl) & asked where's loki to the giants AND it makes me feel that loki will be the pirate with a eye patch & Shanks brother is the man with the last polyglph & parallel both shanks brother & Luffy are going towards Loki too.
Yep! I think that’s also plausible, in Norse mythology Reindeer exist atop the tree and consume the leaves of the tree. If Oda wanted to go with Norse themes then maybe Chopper could play a role there! Chopper also spent the time skip on “Treasure Island” could be a nod to “Treasure Tree Adam”
In the Finnish national epoch, Kalevala, after the world was created there was this massive oak that shadowed all the lands. Then the ancient sage Vainamoinen witnessed how from sea came this brave man in bronze armour and he felled the giant oak with bronze axe allowing sun to shine on the lands. Considering this arc's ties to Scandinavian and norse mythologies, video's theory is kinda interesting.
I like the point you made about Loki's name possibly being a part of the stigma which led to him getting framed, and how it mirrors Usopp. That's especially true since in Japanese "uso" means "lie". I think you're definitely one to something with this theory.
My theory is that Harold was in with the WG. He plans to turn the giants complacent, which is shown to beginning to take effect, particularly with the youth. The newest generation of giants warriors have really underperformed (Hajrudin going extreme high diff with Mach Vice), and the CDs in the heaven world. The effects of the tree might do differently depending on the race. Humans might get sick, while the tree itself makes giants soft (figuratively). That way, in a few generations, the giants would no longer be strong enough, and their strong warriors like Dorry and Broggy would be too old to fight and resist the WG.
I would like to add on to the disease thing by saying more evidence that it could be the tree is gol rogers ship was made from this tree and he got a incurable disease
Maybe the curse is tied to the legendary devil fruit king herald had. We don't know why Loki has bandages on his eyes, what if the curse is being able to see the harm it does but being unable to actually harm it yourself? It would be very difficult to convince the giants of taking down the tree. It basically challenges the leader of a proud nation to change their identity and allow sacrifice
Its probably te same illness that Gol.D Roger had got after taking the egg from Elbaph and the same illness white bead had got. And is the reason Shanks isn't on the island but is only on the border in the ocean 🤔
This supports my first thought when seeing Loki which was why chain him to the tree as punishment unless there's something detrimental about being in close proximity to it? You'd think it'd be easier for the giants just to chain him, but why did they have to go through the added effort of chaining him to possibly the biggest tree on the planet....unless the chains weren't enough?
The real killer is that float float guy and he killed lokis dad. He was thought to be a potential ally to the kingdom of giants after the fallout of the alliance to the big mom family. He was trusted by king herald and betrayed for some reason, but Loki took his fruit to protect it from being stolen and that is why everyone thinks he killed his dad. He was then captured by shanks who came to the land and helped the giants subdue Loki who was on a rampage sealing shiki
What if....King Harold is their version of Captain Kuro? Feels odd that every time we hear about this dude, he was "SO GOOD. PEAK RULER. LETS SEE THE OUTSIDE WORLD!" Like he is almost TOO good to be true. Even the best rulers in this series had their flaws. All the evil ones were, duh, evil. But even the benevolent and well intentioned rulers had major flaws in their countries. IE: Alabasta had a Warlord problem. Dressrosa had King Riku not verify Monets background which allowed Donflamingo to infiltrate and steal the throne. And Oden? Well...He abandoned his people for his own adventure. And King Neptune was literally betrayed by one of his former guards...TWICE. In short. They all had a flaw or mistake that made them not perfect. No shot Harold is immune to this. Beyond that, lets talk logic: For hundreds of years, Elbaf was a unbeatable island of warriors that everyone envied. No outside force could overcome their strength....much less rule them. Sound Familiar? Sounds a lot like Wano. Strong warriors which the World Government cant enforce their rule over. Now we have the Gods Knights and also mother Caramel/Linlin in this chapter. My theory: Years and Years and Years ago King Harald met with the God Knights who promised that if they became "more peaceful" and also if they "donated" children for their gigantification project that they would give them something equal in return. What they promised doesn't matter because they lied to the King. Their goal was two fold. Get test subjects for the world government to make a army of giants for themselves. And also to cripple the Elbafs way of life by making them pacified so as to take over their country. Thus why Mother Caramel and her "Orphanage" were there. This happened probably for years behind the Elbaf citizens backs, as Harold probably played it off as a benevolent act. Loki one day discovered this betrayal by his father. (THINK! WHY ELSE WOULD THEIR TELEPORTATION CIRCLE BE RIGHT IN THE THRONE ROOM RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS THRONE!!????) From their, either Loki kills his father. Or the Gods Knights did to cover their tracks. Regardless, Loki takes the blame. And no one believes him due to his shenanigans. If this theory is correct, whether Harold was did this for benevolent reasons or not doesn't matter. He weakened the culture of Elbaf from a strong warrior nation, to one that could be potentially taken over by the World Government. And he also accelerated the World Governments research on the gigantification project. If anyone has any flaws in my theory, lemme know.
Perhaps with a saying you should not overstay your welcome here. He could be referring to accidentally upsetting the Giants and therefore they would fight you because they were a warring Nation but now they are trying to be more peaceful it would seem

They treat wood before they put them on ships bro
I mean, Roger was dying of a mysterious illness. So this checks out.
Plants only produce fumes/chemicals as long as their alive. That's why maple wood planks don't randomly start spurting syrup.
But they have to chop it down. Who's volunteering to cut pieces of a toxic tree and risk getting sick?

You could also add the correlation of Usopps "I Can't-go-on-this-island-or-I'll-die-disease". Lowkey a crazy theory that could actually happen.
After this arc i wana see "Ussop v. All Gorosei"
This would explain gol d roger and buggys illness
