Worked perfect. TY
Great work, i will test this. Just a comment, I think you can upload the .txt with the instructions and links here next time. I will comment again later test this. Thanks!

Thanks for this video. It seems that with your help I will be able to get out of the hole I'm in. That is, having access to 2.4ghz, which we were promised.
Please tell me if with "OpenWrt" I will also be able to connect to 802.11 networks.
Thank you from Spain
Hola @zesa6031...
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you found the video helpful.
Regarding your question about OpenWrt, yes, it does support connecting to 802.11 networks. It's a versatile firmware that provides a wide range of customization options. If you're having trouble accessing the 2.4GHz network you were promised, OpenWrt might be a great solution.
If you decide to go with OpenWrt, make sure to check the compatibility with your specific Ubiquiti device and follow the installation process carefully.
Best of luck,
Saludos desde Filipinas!

I thank you for answering my questions and you ended up giving more oxygen to my soul, which was sad, because I thought I had spent money for nothing. After all I will be able to use the 802.11 protocol. Great.
My device is the "LiteBeam 5AC Gen2", therefore perfectly in accordance with your instructions.
At the end I will say something.
Thanks once again

Hi, what is better for ptp, stock firmware or openwrt?
@laguagua35 Hello... "For a PTP application, it is best to use stock firmware."
Thanks for this amazing video tutorial. Do you plan to do a v22.03.3 upgrade tutorial for this device? I see is available but afraid it may change the performance or brick the device. Thanks again from Puerto Rico.
Thank you for your positive message about the video tutorial. Before upgrading to v22.03.3, make sure to research and confirm compatibility with your device and that there are no known issues. It's always good to exercise caution when upgrading software. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi, i can't ping 192.168.1.20 [Destination Host Unreachable]. U can help me solution? Thanks
There could be several reasons why you are unable to ping 192.168.1.20 and receive a "Destination Host Unreachable" error message. Here are a few things you can check:
1.Verify that the IP address is correct: Make sure that 192.168.1.20 is the correct IP address of the device you are trying to ping. You can check the IP address of the device by running "ipconfig" command in Command Prompt on a Windows PC or "ifconfig" command on a Linux or Mac computer.
2.Check the network connection: Make sure that the device you are trying to ping is powered on and connected to the network. If the device is connected wirelessly, make sure that it is within range of the wireless network.
3.Check the network configuration: Make sure that the device you are trying to ping has a valid IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway configured. You can check the network configuration by running "ipconfig" or "ifconfig" command on the device.
4.Check for firewall or antivirus software: If you have firewall or antivirus software installed on the device you are trying to ping, it may be blocking the ICMP packets used by the ping command. You can temporarily disable the firewall or antivirus software and try pinging the device again to see if that resolves the issue.
5.Check network devices: If you have a router or switch between the two devices, check to ensure that the network devices are configured correctly and that they are functioning properly.
By checking these things, you may be able to identify the cause of the "Destination Host Unreachable" error and resolve the issue.

Nice Amigo 👋
It working dual band ?
@joelbbc Hi there! Upgrading the firmware of your Ubiquiti LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 to OpenWrt allows you to configure it to work in dual-band mode. You can set up the 5GHz radio as a wireless client to receive a signal from another access point, while the 2.4GHz radio can be used to broadcast a new Wi-Fi network. Alternatively, you can also set up the 2.4GHz radio as a wireless client and the 5GHz radio as the access point. The flexibility of OpenWrt allows for various configurations and settings, so you can customize your network setup according to your needs. I hope this helps!
