Imagine if they increased pay, which would entice more people into nursing and then the shortage would be solved in less than 5 years because more staff, better ratios and more retention
@@tridie420 but the jab mandate made it worse I’m glad I’m unjabbed since cdc got rid of the guidelines I can now find work in areas that had a mandatory jab in seattle
@@AcornSmokes420 not really? WA state "lost" less than 2% of our medical professionals. Idk about teachers, but I'd imagine the abuse from parents is a far more influencial factor than the vaccine. Good luck finding work ig?
@@tridie420 lol, you're saying that vaccine mandates had no effect on staffing? That's false! My Dr's office lost more than a few nurses & Dr's over the mandates.
I was a floor nurse nearly 30 years ago and staffing was one issue (among many) back then. I went into a specialty area where staffing was not an issue. Add on the draconian tactics of firing former heroes over essentially “my body, my choice” vaccination decisions, and you end up with this wokester adminstrative self-made crisis.
Nurses are over worked and under staffed. I retired early from ICU nursing because my hospital was giving me 3 to 4 unstable patients when the standard of care was 2 patients. If something would have happened to one of my patients because I made a mistake I could have lost my license or possibly be prosecuted. Not to mention you forced nurses to take the covid vaccine or get fired. It is no wonder you have a nursing shortage because they are treated like crap at work. Who wants to go into a field where you can't go to the bathroom or take a break in a 12 hour shift because you are so busy because your employer made you take on double the work load?
Right not to mention there were a lot of nurses who could not do travel due to family etc and they received the same pay as before pandemic while travelers received so much more. The regular staff nurse should have had a bump in pay as hazard pay or something and many did not.
Your the one who doesn’t understand science. Lol. Vaccines are supposed to stop the spread. The Covid vaccines don’t do that. To even call it a vaccine doesn’t make sense. But you go ahead with following whatever your told.
@@tridie420 science? Lmao! I'd rather trust a person who can think for themselves rather than some sheep. There's no data to back the vaccine. Why do you think we can't sue the manufacturer's? Because they have no idea what the side effects are for the future. That in itself is a major red flag. Better hope your baby doesn't come out all deformed.
So if you hassle employees at work, threatening them about vaccinations etc, they'll leave?? Gee I'm sooo shocked...
These Chinese loyalists fired our heroes and now we are understaffed. I used to work in Healthcare and I never will again!
Go eat a tide pod

Mandatory vaccines??? Is that why? Teacher shortages all of the sudden also.
Literally no. Both of these shortages have been an issue since before the pandemic.

Great job with the mandates!
Do you need to be vaccinated?
I would sure fucking hope so. Why in the hell would I trust a nurse who doesn't understand science??
