Hi Michelle, welcome back. Good to see all and your newest addition, Luna. She is pretty and very playful. She is in her perfect forever home. GOD Bless.
I sure hope that countertop was cleaned off prior to kneading that dough. One thing I can never pass up is freshly baked bread of any kind. Thanks for giving another dog a home. She looks to fit right in with all the other dogs oh and the cat too
Luna is a gem! She will keep the older ones young with her playfulness. You two are so generous 7 dogs and a cat. I love steak night lucky critters. I think you’re right on the allergy thing most likely the pets.
Joining the "allergy club" is easy; our three rescues have ensured I am constantly congested and phlegmy, but like you, won't change a thing. View of a typical West Kootenay basement (16:30 mark): seven sets of skis for two people. Been there... Well done in adding Luna to the pack, if there's room and a sufficient budget, why not, eh? Cheers from an Ex-pat Castlegar guy.
Great to see you back Home, and your right Michy, No place like home!! Luna is Precious, and the way she likes to try and get the older ones to play with her. A few more Pups, and you'll have enough to pull a Sled, maybe enter the Idenerogg. Which I'am not sure how to spell Ha. What is the name of the Lake that your building the Cliff Cabin on? Is that where you and Steve will bring the new boat, when it's finally home? It will surely make a nice day tripper, with out Sea sick stuff. Lol Thanks for the great videos. Stay Safe and Well.
Hey Michelle & Steve, I love how dedicated to your animals you are. I have always been allergic to dogs & cats but I have always had lots of cats. I am down to four cats. As of 11-16-2023 my oldest cat passed away in my arms from a stroke. He had a long and wonderful life & it shook my other cats & I deeply. I devoted more time to my remaining cats to let them know it would be OK and that Daddy would be here for them. I am so lucky to be able to spend 24/7 with my cats. We all have great communication skills with each other, and everyone loves one another like a family should. Everything that comes into our home they are a part of & everything they bring home they let me be a part of like the animals they catch. My runt is six years old and still hasn't been able to catch live prey so he brings me a stuffed toy mouse to contribute in "the hunt" with the others. He (name Guess) also brings home lots of tall dead grass, up to fifty stalks per day. I think he believes he is a squirrel and needs to make a nest.
🐕🐕WOW, GREAT video, love the dogs, Luna fit in perfectly !! the cat in the box, with Luna, chewing the box 🤣 After my rescue beagle Snoopy died, my wife drove 3 hours each way to get another rescue beagle,🐕🐕 ,.. Thank you for what you do !! Blessings
Luna is a Joy! What a perfect addition to your "allergy collection!" I think she is destined to be your best buddy. Her sweet eyes express so much happiness and gratitude. It is so good to see you back in your native habitat. I can almost hear David Attenborough's hushed voice narrating footage of you as you roam your natural home once more. Your video makes me smile.
Love dog rescued. Mine is laying at my feet sound asleep. Have a 3/4 t GMC pickup. it looks like yours except silver. Keep the projects moving forward. From California 😊😊
Great to see Luna getting such a spectacular home! Watching yall inspires me and warms my soul. Keep showing the world how to be normal. Im confident this makes a positive impact in the world.
Your family is beautiful ❤ your life with your man is beautiful ❤ if you're allergic to your family take a pill😂 all of your family or so well-behaved❤ thank you for sharing❤ we will see you on the next one🎉😂😮😅
OH IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU BACK HOME IN YOUR ELEMENT!! LOVE FROM TEXAS!! LUNA HAS THE PRETTIEST SOFT EYES. IM SO GLAD SHE IS COMING TO A VERY LOVING HOME🥰🥰
Ain't Luna a Pretty Little Sweet Girl of a pup. She has a great home now. Looks like she will fit in A-Ok there. Good to see y'all back home. Thank youichelle for sharing this video with us. May y'all have a good one. Have fun take care
Congrats on the new member of the pack. You're smile gives away the fact you are genuinely happy to be home. Will be nice for you to get back to work on the cabin.
I totally feel ya about traveling vs. being at home. Luna is a sweety, and you and Steve are awesome with your unlimited love for your doggos and Southgate! I'm glad you're home. 😊
I was given starter about a year ago by my friend, so I can’t speak to how difficult it is to do from scratch! After it’s been unused in the fridge for a while it sometimes takes 2-3 days to get it alive again.
Hi Michelle. Nice you have Luna now with the family. She's full of energy to keep the others young and seems to like Southgate a lot. LOL! You're both amazing people taking on so many rescues. Looking forward to more of your builds.
Glad you’re back. Don’t cut your hand off. Place the axe on the kindling first use left hand to help pick up the axe & wood together then remove it as it hits the stump.
How does it feel, being back on land? Well no time for the weary back on that horse. Love that you guys have not stayed stagnant on providing a home for another pet bless your hearts.
We have had up to three rescues at on time but have rescued even more over the years. They always find us but it’s been a while now since we lost our last one hoping one finds us again. In all cases of rescues they have come to us somehow. Either a stray at where I used to work or a stray in the neighborhood where we don’t find the owner. So my ❤ goes out to you and what you do.
Glad the ‘home’ videos are back. The boat ones were ok, but home …..! You guys have such beautiful hearts with your rescues! ❤️ God bless and keep you! A loyal and appreciative fan in Texas!
Thank you M! Hope the allergies get better. Sounds like you are spot on, might be just one or two of the creatures that are getting you. Make Steve, cough cough, clean more.
If you had more than one like button they would all get clicked, since I find myself wanting to click the like button again and again while watching your videos, even though I click it when I first start watching your videos. Welcome to your for ever after home Luna, this very loving family is going to keep your doggy heart totally full of belonging and doggy happiness for the rest of your deserving life! Happy holidays Steve and Michelle, and fur babies...stay happy, healthy and safe, as you all give and take the love and joy you all deserve?🥰
Luna looks like a great friendly dog, she is definitely happy at your house. I used to watch those rescue videos that you mentioned, but I had to stop….the cruelty and pure inhumanity that the animals had to endure made me so angry!!! Animals don’t have a choice about where they live, some do escape….thankfully, but others have to endure until they die….too sad. Thankyou for rescuing the ones you can. As far as your allergies….I too have them, we have a shedding dog and our son has 2 that are here too occasionally. I don’t like meds, but have found that extra strength 24hr Claritin tablets work very well to allow me to breathe better. Only taken occasionally tho.
Watching all those dogs waiting patiently for food is amazing, your channel is definitely different to anything else I watch. In a Good way of course, looking forward to the project work starting soon. 👍
Michelle, congrats on the new addition to your pack. Welcome Luna! I love that you include doggos on your videos (but I too am a dog person). With regard to your pet allergies, we have two dogs and two cats, and I from time to time get facial irritation (sometimes on my neck too). I think much of it comes from some of the microbes on the pets' surface biome (such as yeasts, etc). Because we let the pets sleep on our bed, I always wash our bed linens on the "sanitary" setting, and add a oxidizing cleaner to the pre-wash (we swear by SImple Solution, which cleans all pet stains and odors). When I notice the linens smelling heavily of the pets, or when I have a face Flare-up, I'll add chlorhexidine solution to the fabric softener tray on the washer. I get 1 gal bottles of 2% chlorhexidine from either Chewy or Amazon. You could try washing the dogs blankets the same way on a regular basis to help minimize the microbial things that might be causing your allergic reactions. I also get a Chlorhexidine/miconazol solution called Miconahex Triz, which I use specifically on the dogs if they have skin irritations or yeast infections. I will occasionally use that on my face, if I'm noticing the telltale itching. Hope this helps. Let me know if you would like some more specifics. (I'm not sure if the same things are available in Canada).
Good to see You back and like my wife she is allergic to goes and cats but she deals with it and we have 3 cats and 4 dogs and she wants another dog yet. Lol. Be Safe and Enjoy.
So cool 😎 Glad y'all are back and getting into your routines. Might I say, a pair of Levi's never looked so good. Levi's Strauss should sponsor your channel. Seriously ❤
Allergies ouch. Somehow we were fortunate to identify our daughter with fur allergies and the vet put us on to nonallergic dogs with hair, not fur. So over 45 years and 6 poodles, we have had no dog issues. I wish more people knew about allergy free dogs. Love from San Diego for the winter.
So glad you and Steve are home safe and sound. Sorry to see you so sea sick on the boat. Luna seems to fit right in with the pack. She is a pretty girl. Have a wonderful and safe holiday season.
That is a very patient cat )) 10:00 Btw, that outer layer of wood is called the cambium and it is part of the tree's vascular system, so my guess that it turned black due to a fungal infection, probably cedar bark blight. Certainly adds to the character of it and should make a nice table top if that is your plan.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your passion for your Babies, and for rescuing Luna. She is a great addition to your beautiful family. And I hope you find and Fix.! Your allergies. ❤
I had the same reaction Michelle . We first had a poodle and it didn't affect me at all .When Jason ( the poodle ) passed we adopted a White German Shepard at 1 yr.old ,his name was CODY.What a beautiful dog and smart !!! but,I started to notice I wasn't feeling well after about 6-8 months of having him.I found out I was allergic to his "dander" .I would get enormas head aches .My doctor said shampooing the dogs more often and take an allergy medication . CODY passed away in my daughter's arm's and I can't have pets in the seniors building I'm currently living in. I to miss them so much. At the age of 71 I don't know if I will have another but my daughter said resently she is going to adopt another .She lives in Banff Alberta and has a nice fenced in back yard . I hope you and Steve do adopt again. 🥰✌🤟Ken.
Hi guys from a top the High Sierra mountains of northern California with two donkeys and a cat. Nothing like being home in a winter wonderland. Back to your boat, I don't know if the ocean connects somehow to the Rideau Canal by way of the St. Lawrence, but what a trip that would be 202 kilometers long from the Ottawa River at Ottawa with the St. Lawrence River at Kingston, Ontario. Shows the whole route on Wikipedia. It's on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Max boat length 90 feet, max boat beam 26 feet, and max boat draft 5 feet.🎄🥂
It’s the cat! Being a dog lover, it’s the cat. The good news is there’s medication for that and it will definitely help. Welcome to the pack Luna.
Oh my God I’m just sitting here leisurely listening to your allergy issues .
and then you’re talking about how you love senior dogs and you’re getting a new dog named Luna, who is only three,

Luna is clearly a sweetheart. And kudos to your cat, very obviously stoically resigned to having yet another new dog in the household. 😾😄
Glad you guys made it back safe. Steve's quite a guy for sure. I use an otc called loratadine 10mg. No drowsy effects. Thanks...peace🐾🌻🍺
A pharmacist recommended Reactine - which seems to work but I will check that one out too! Thanks!
My wife uses that too, and seems to feel that it works.
That is a content, and happy dog. I can see it in her eyes. Good job, young lady.

I know I should be focussing on the very sweet and lovely central theme, but I just love the baking outro!
Glad the ‘home’ videos are back. The boat ones were ok, but home …..! You guys have such beautiful hearts with your rescues! ❤️ God bless and keep you! A loyal and appreciative fan in Texas!
Love Luna , she will fit right in Michy, I know we shouldn't have favourites , but Clyde's my man , ✨⚡🌲🌈😄💖
Good job on the dishwasher Steve 👍✨🏌️
Awe. Thank you!
When you click it twice by accident it removes your like.😊
Luna looks like a great friendly dog, she is definitely happy at your house.
Welcome Luna! She is beautiful. Good luck with the muffins
You are truly an amazing woman. I watch all your videos and love every one!!!!
You need my kind of attention on those Cold Nights !.
Thank you so much for the tips! I will definitely look into the chlorhexidine wash stuff!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR ! Lots of cool sailing, smooth building and to round it out, may all your rescues be happy and healthy too.
Well, they say that home is where the heart is. Clearly, you belong right where you are with all those sweet pups. I call that, 'heaven'.
Good to see You back and like my wife she is allergic to goes and cats but she deals with it and we have 3 cats and 4 dogs and she wants another dog yet. Lol. Be Safe and Enjoy.
They’re worth it! ❤
I would love to be one of your dogs, all the kisses they get I'm jealous 😊 🏴
Missed you! you bring joy to our lives.
Welcome home. Great to see you all back. Best wishes from the Isle of Man.
Un fabuloso video Michelle ,los perritos y Steve se ve un gran hombre
So glad you and Steve are home safe and sound. Sorry to see you so sea sick on the boat. Luna seems to fit right in with the pack. She is a pretty girl. Have a wonderful and safe holiday season.
Great video. All the best to you all Merry Christmas to you all 👍🇨🇦
That is a very patient cat )) 10:00
Btw, that outer layer of wood is called the cambium and it is part of the tree's vascular system, so my guess that it turned black due to a fungal infection, probably cedar bark blight. Certainly adds to the character of it and should make a nice table top if that is your plan.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your passion for your Babies, and for rescuing Luna. She is a great addition to your beautiful family. And I hope you find and Fix.! Your allergies. ❤
Luna is the most beautiful dog. She just fits right in with the pack.
Love you guys,, what a beautiful; family,,the dogs, are the best,,
I had the same reaction Michelle .
Oh come on @Michy 😊 i want to see those muffins now, please.
Welcome Luna ❤❤
