Babalola is a perfect fit for UM, he's the exact kind of player we look for. Also, I hope we can close the deal with Jayden Sanders.
This is what cracks me up about the #1 offensive tackle in Sanders Jr. reportedly "interested in becoming a Doctor / Sports Medicine Major" and was supposedly impressed with Ohio St's sports medicine program. Then you look at his top 5 schools and its Ohio St and a bunch of SEC schools. Sanders isn't remotely interested in academics. Babalola is what a recruit truly interested in academics looks like. Sanders is interested in football and McDonalds because if did he give a rip about academics he sure as hell wouldn't be looking at the schools he is looking at.
This dumb. For undergrad, it matters more about who your professors are if you mesh with the program. There are tons of great doctors to come out of OSU. I guess you don't think Myron "Rhodes Scholar" Rolle cared about academics because he went to FSU? He's a neurosurgeon now. Maybe you think Dr. Craig Krenzel doesn't care about academics because he played QB for OSU. The best lawyer I ever worked with went to unlv for undergrad. Your take is a silly, ridiculous, elitist take and I say this as a Ross grad.
I read that Babalola wants to ultimately play in the NFL. If that’s true, Michigan is his best choice.

I'm a Michigan fan, but the dude is a 5*, so he's probably going to the league, regardless. I do agree that coming to Michigan makes it almost a guarantee, but it's not like Stanford can't develop a 5* tackle good enough to make it to the league.
Balboa wants to be an orthopedic surgeon that's why he's looking at Stanford and michigan.
Someone pointed out that we got Myles Hinton from Stanford two summers ago. Babalola is a similar athletic profile of Hinton, and there is no better place for personal development than Ann Arbor. Similarly, there is no better team for player development than the Michigan Wolverines.
At this point, starting on the offensive line for Michigan is THE fast track to the NFL, as evidenced by our top 6 O-Lineman all making it to the NFL this past draft. And, he's gonna get a world class education at UM, as well as significant NIL and revenue sharing benefits. If he works hard enough with the team, he could end up on the cover of EA Sports College Football '27 or '28.

Michigan has had a few become doctors like Stefan Humphries and Chris Hutchinson. During the Harbaugh era, 4 former players have been accepted into the medical school.
