This is a FANTASTIC game for teaching youngsters learning Algebra about many of the fundamentals of the subject! I absolutely LOVE this game, win or lose!
14:09 With the "four different color" bomb card, it doesn't necessarily have to be all four different, but each die is a different color than the ones adjacent to. e.g. you could do red-black-red-black or blue-green-yellow-green. Thanks for the video! Will be sharing on Facebook. :)
Thanks for this. Used it yesterday to be able to quickly explain the game to my kids bc we were playing it last night to test it out for our game group next weekend.
When doing the video I consulted with the publisher and designer. They decided to have me leave it the way the rule book was. After the video, they created an official variant: boardgamegeek.com/thread/1504338/official-1-2-player-variant
As far as timing/order goes, if I flip over a fuse card and it's a, 2, and the team has yet to resolve a rolled 2, do we just put that number 2 die back in the bag or since the die wasn't on a bomb card at the time of me flipping the fuse card, it is still allowed to be played. It is important to note here that the 2 die can be used on another person's bomb card. I'm just trying to get the order of play correct. Hope this question makes sense 👍🏼
The rules say "Fuse Cards will show either a die number or a die color on them. In either case, all players must return one die of the matching number or color from their Bomb Cards to the bag (if possible)." Since your two is not on a card yet, it is safe.
My audio isn’t working for my iPhone. It’s an iPhone xs so maybe that might be the issue; but the audio on the app and my settings are up all the way. Any idea or help you might have for me?
I live in Spain and I'm looking for someone who can supply indie games (like this one) in English and deliver them to Spain without it costing the earth. If anyone has any suggestions... please let me know. Great vid... love the look of the game. Any idea if there's a print and play version?
+Derek L In solo and two player games you can place multiple dice on the same card. So in solo you could place all 3 on the same card if you wanted to.
+TheGameBoyGeek - Hi Quality Hi Energy Board Game Reviews I Dan, just wondering where that clarification is in the rules? Or did renegade come out with a FAQ?

Hi Susan, This is the Rules School intended to teach you how to setup and play the game. The review was a separate video - ua-cam.com/video/l5mCnJiE964/v-deo.html
I actually think that if a group of player would can easily cheating while following rules... i mean: you see a dice that you can't take but you place it anyway onto an empty bomb and later on you just have to say: oh, i was wrong, let me place this dice into the bag :/
The 1 min overview is to give eveyone a high level idea of what the game is about so the setup goes a little smoother. Usually even finding certain components can be confusing with no references to the game up front.

Oh great! I'm glad you enjoy them! You can see all of them here: www.gameboygeek.com/rules-school
Game boy geek is the sizzle in my dizzle.
Thanks!
Thanks for posting. I just bought this game to take on holiday but wanted to learn how to play before we go.
Cool glad it could help!
Thanks for this - great explainer!

I thought that was the case, but just wanted to make sure we were playing it right. Thanks!

What about the switch on the side of the iphone for the speaker? That one caught me off guard before
@@TheGameBoyGeeks it worked! Thanks.✌

When playing solo, do the dice have to be used on a unique bomb? Or can you use all three on one bomb?

I may have missed it but did you give your opinion of the game?

this game is madness. I like it.
Has anyone else not been able to change the voice of the app? Even if I select basic voice it still plays the "personality" voice. (android version)
The voice stays the same, but the snarky comments stay or go depending on that setting.

I really hope you don't play with such players. Winning by cheating is not really rewarding; I really don't understand the point.
Julie LeBouthillier I never understood this point either, just dont cheat or play with people who do, problem solved.
Why not talk about the setup first and foremost?
