That ghost town looked amazing!
I’ve been to a few abandoned mining towns here in Australia, which were interesting, but so much smaller than what you guys saw.
That looked like a real town, so much to see! Plus, that background! It almost looked fake, because it looked so perfect! Really beautiful and unlike anything I have ever seen in real life.
I have traveled a lot and lived in a few different countries, all over Europe, Australia, South Africa and Mozambique as well as some places in the States like Florida and California, but nothing even resembled what Arizona has to offer!! Just amazing!

My friend is building a house in Scottsdale. I went to AZ for first time to visit. You are right it’s like another planet LOL. When you’re driving the back roads that’s what it looks like when you go to the land she bought where she’s going to build. The views are fabulous.

I love Goldfield mine! My brother took me there a couple years ago and it was so much fun! We ate there and we wandered around and we went to everything! I am so glad you got to go do that.

I agree about the hot tap water. When I rented my first apartment in Arizona I complained to the office about how my cold water had hot water every single time and they said probably the Mexican who put in the faucet thought that the C was meant for caliente ...little did I know.

It’s so cool to see you guys hanging out at a place that we take all of our family members that are from out of town. I’m a Native of AZ, from North Scottsdale, my husband is from the UP. I am deathly scared of heights, my husband loves to get me on that stupid zip line and rocks it to scare me. You should have taken Abbie to the ice cream shop.
I would have loved to see some of Isaiah's camera skills at work in that town.

I wish I would of known you were in Phoenix. Would have loved to meet you guys. Monsoon is a thing in Arizona August and September but it came early this year started in July.

Oh man!, you were at the sky habor airport in Phoenix and missed the GREATEST deli jus another 20 minutes away in Gilbert. NYTD (not yor typical deli) , their mission is to help, teach, and employ young adults with autism......not only that but their food is amazing.

Speaking as a native arizonan, yes, we do have monsoons in the middle of scorching summer, and yes, we do just ride our atv/utv out of the garage and onto the trail, even in the middle of suburbia, because they’re street legal here😂

Living in AZ as a child I can say that July-August will bring afternoon rains that will flood quickly.

I’m so happy you guys stopped in Arizona! I live 30 minutes from Apache Junction. In a different small “ghost town” called Superior. Yes, our heat is very different! It’s hard to get cold showers in the summer lol. The mountain that you pointed at is called Superstition Mountains. I would have LOVED to have met you guys! Maybe one day! ❤️

I've been there. It's neat. My mom lives a few miles from there. The lake near by is very nice, took a boat tour a few years back.
When it rains there, it almost instantly floods due to the water rolling very quickly off the mountains.

It IS high monsoon season now. Not a drop for several weeks here even though the weather app shows rain most days. So frustrating. And Mesa gets the best Monsoon storms in the valley here. I sure miss that. Ours can be pretty exciting, but not as often as Mesa gets them

We went to that ghost town a few years ago with the expectation it would be real chessy and ended up reading enjoying it also. I live in Texas but grew up in Phoenix. You are so correct when you say it's like a while other planet there. We try to go back yearly to visit family and always leave wanting more time.

FYI, monsoon is a season for a type of storm. Torrential rains in which inches come down in minutes. The lightning is amazing although it can get scarey when you are in it. Have fun.
You should check out Old Tucson next time. It's a wild west town when a lot of old westerns were filmed. They do shows, have food, cute gift shops.. super fun
I was told when I visited Arizona years ago that if you don't want the cactus where it's at, you can move it but you have to replant it in a different spot. Not just leave it lay.
Goldfield was awesome. We did a ghost tour at night as it’s supposed to be haunted… that was also awesome especially the EVP’s

Now you know 21 days is your limit. You know how far to go and back. What my Dad did when we went from Ontario, Canada to Los Angeles, Cali and back. My parents would go back to some of the States they liked best. Maybe that’s what you can do in some of the states you would like to explore is spend a week there. Enjoy your videos. I live in Sierra Vista AZ, it is 3 hours away from Phoenix. I grew up in AZ! Monsoon is common and it is also common for it to be sunny and HOT one min and the next pouring. It Can be weird for visitors to expierence, I am sure. 🤣 Next time you guys travel go check out Tucson AZ. You will get more of the AZ vibe. Go visit the saguaro forest and mt lemmon, they are awesome places. ♡♡ Loving these travel vids by the way!! 🌵🌵🌵🌵🦂
Man I wish I would have known you were here in my neck of the woods I could have shown you some cool places. I know AZ well I film with my drone and also film quail hunting (good healthy eaten)with rescue dogs. I’ve taking some great pics at that ghost town mine you were at. I watch your stuff cause I like your way of editing your films and always pulling for Abby to turn a page. I’m going through the most difficult time in my life, I was diagnosed last year with a lung disease out of nowhere. I’m waiting to get a lung transplant which I choose to do I’m 50 years old and have so much more filming,editing,stories to tell and songs to right. Our state has so many historical ghost towns. A friend spent a couple of years visiting and researching them all and writing a book about them--where they are, their history, how to get there... We've visited most of them. They're amazing
