Looks a fantastic site. Looked this up as my mum told me about it. We fancy the pitches near the kids play area as we have 2 young ones. Great video, thanks 😄

This is a lovely site walked through a couple of times. We have a seasonal pitch on Pinegroves at the bottom of lickpenny Lane we love it there is loads to explore in that area.
Our first time there & won't be our last, really enjoyed our stay there, thank you for watching 👍

Went there in February once. It snowed so the grandsons were out at 7am making a snowman

Hi Andrew and Karen. We absolutely love this site and can't wait to get back again. Like you, it is only an hour away from us too. We have used the link weekend system and it works very well for us.
Strangely we were there the same time as you, as our caravan features in your video. All staff are very friendly and the site is always immaculate. Cheers Terry & Sue

Looks a lovely site. Lovely large pitches. We are newbies and looking for places to try so this is certainly one that would suit us. It’s on our ‘to do’ list as an area we want to visit. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼

Great to see Lickpenny again Andrew & Karen, we were there the week running up to the very first covid lockdown. Where is everybody? It should be much busier than this being such a lovely site. Like you we would return again. Cheers Rob & Gail

Try packhorse farm site about 3 mile away were you turned left at top of slack hill you take the next left enjoy .
Will have a look at that site for the future, thanks for the recommendation 👍
@@andrew-karens-adventures we live about 2 mile from packhorse but take our caravan there at weekends just for a break feom work etc its a realy nice site
Hi andrew and karen Lovely big site , always like hedged pitches for that extra bit of privacy and blocks the wind and a bit of extra shade when you need it

Thanks for the video, we are aiming to visit Lickpenny in Sept,
1) did you walk to the nearby garden center, is it worth a visit?
2) what did you use for flooring in the awning? We have not stayed on a hard standing pitch before and we are not sure what we should be using on the floor.

It's a lovely site, Yes walked to the garden centre, its certainly a good garden centre and has a lovely cafe, we use those foam mats under carpet those that link together like a jigsaw, we've had them for about 8 years now, thanks for watching 👍
