I like both here. I'd probably throw in an EQ or a clean boost like a FET preamp to brighten up the hardware to my preferences. But it's really solid as is and a great lunchbox.

Thanks for you thoughts. I agree with you. I think the biggest difference between the 2 is the presence dial. They're both at 1 o'clock currently but I feel you'd have to almost max out the presence on the actual amp to get them sounding similar.

Sim lacks all of the warmth and thump of the real thing which is pretty typical of sims in general. But still didn't sound bad at all. Good comparison 👍

I'm thinking about buying the real thing, would the plugin be sufficient to get a taste of the amp through my rig? They both sound VERY close to each other, considering. Great playing and song by the way!

Thanks for watching! I'd say the plugin sits in the mix easier without much tweaking but the Amp has more gain and low end. My advice would be Try the plugin first (it's free for like 10 days I think).
