Hatchbacks don't sell anymore. Solution: stretch it vertically, raise the suspension slightly, give it bigger tires, and put plastic all along the bottom so it looks rugged and off-roady. Profit. Been out for a year? VWs aren't big in my area on the East Coast. I don't think I've seen a single one. Looks nice though.
I have a 2022 sel it's got a larger and better digital gauge display, I have dual climate control with auto temp, even launch control which with definitely suprise you. And 4motion, beats audio with sub woofer
I don't know why, but for some weird reason VW decided to offer the AWD models with a 7 speed DSG. Why do they think that an everyday car needs a dual clutch transmission? And they're not the only ones. Audi, Mercedes, Hyundai and KIA are also culprits here. Edit: the 8 speed automatic transmission in the front wheel drive models is built by Aisin, the same company that makes Toyota transmissions. So essentially, the 8 speed is a Toyota transmission.
FWD SUV because better fuel economy, less weight, can replace tires one at a time. Other benefits over sedan are increased ground clearance, ride height, storage space and arguably safety.
Update! I tried the launch control of the 7 speed DCT on the Taos it works like charm, can't belive they advertise this vehicles as a 8.4 second 0-60 when in reality it can do 6.9 secons using regulat 87 gas when using launch control
Zach I'm not going to be annoying with it that meant a lot to me having my video on your community page the best I could have hoped for was a comment on my video from you before you did it keep up the good work.
Pretty cool! And glad you’re getting more V-Dubs on the channel
Being that I own two VW's I appreciate this fact as well.
You did a very thorough job. I enjoyed listening to you talk and it was very clear, unbiased, and to the point! Great job!

They state that they added the option for the DSG for the people that want a more sporty feel from the Taos

This is great with the FWD 8 speed automatic transmission .

Just bought one really dig this car.
The rear looks exactly like the last gen audi suvs!! those lights do the same swoopy thing and the general shape too. 10:22
You gotta get the black rims on the white one
For $30K, they should have dropped the 2.0 from the GTI but ,Abe only 200 horsies. 156 horsepower in 2022 is sad 😢
But, great review!!👍

AWD version comes with a DSG rather than the 8speed at.
😒
Don't know why they'll do that, considering the AWD Tiguan has the 8 speed automatic transmission.🤷🏽
@@damilolaakanni our 4motion tiguan has the dual clutch transmission
AWD Is different than 4WD
We really like ours. It really moves. No lack of power. Fast forward, this car has been a total pos. Worst car ever.
this is NOT the top screen ...
